As I was shopping at the plaza, I happened to have stumbled across this Chipotle vibe fast food eatery. I went in based on the name, knowing it will ave plenty of healthy options. I was proven correct as I saw their menu with a variety of healthy salads. On the wall, it read all their ingredients are organic and farm to table.
I was most excited about their Shroomami salad which is a warm bowl. It contains roasted tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, sunflower seeds, organic wild rice, shredded kale, and finished with miso sesame ginger dressing. Their warm bowl was sadly not as warm as I would have liked. While it wasn’t cold, it was more at room temperature. A scoop of this and a scoop of that but they were generous with the kale. Considering the name, “Shroomam” I had expected more emphasis on the wild mushrooms. I felt they did not give much of that and I did not use much dressing so I can honestly state, the taste of the mushroom was sadly underwhelming.
The place is relatively new to the plaza and the staff was very friendly. You can download an app and order on line as well.

I grabbed dinner here after a haircut. I wanted something quick yet healthy. Good choice! I had a bowl with Spinach, spring mix, herbed quinoa, blackened tofu, cucumbers, pickled onions, flavored chickpeas, and cold sweet potatoes. I chose the ranch and also the ginger dressing. I did not know they were going to toss the whole salad, so I’m lucky that those two flavors actually complemented each other so well! That tofu definitely had a kick, but my salad was delicious and filling. I will definitely come back here. Just be careful about which toppings you add because many are upcharged. I just had the autumn harvest bowl, amd it was very good. However, I do feel that $17 is a lot to drop for a quick dinner. Plus, even though I scan thr app each time I’ve been here, I never have any points when I return.

So glad Sweetgreen finally made it to my part of NJ. Great location at Shrewsbury Commons. Location offers indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and really moved the order through the line. Food was delicious and you get a really good sized portion for the price.

Ordered with door dash and they forgot all veggie toppings. Not only that, but they didn’t even give a full refund. Just for the veggies. That’s like ordering a cheeseburger from McDonald’s, they forget the cheese and bun, and give you a 10 cent refund. I just ended up with steak and rice. Everyone makes mistakes. But at least send another bowl with the right ingredients, or give a refund being that the meal was ruined. Great idea for a business. Horrible service quality.

I really like this Sweetgreen. A great option for a balanced lunch or dinner. Portions are OK for take out so order in person and they give a little more. Salads/bowls range from $12-$20 dollars but the ingredients are truly high quality. Great healthy kids meals for the kids. Love their roasted sweet potato’s and wild rice.

It takes over an hour to get food from this place. They mark there orders done on delivery services so they get better ratings, but they never actually have the food prepared in time. They are quite obviously screwing over customers and delivery drivers just so they appear to have better prep times than they actually do. I’ve ordered 3 times and everytime they food is “ready for delivery” in minutes but whenever I look the delivery driver is stuck there for half an hour waiting on my order. I genuinely don’t know how they get away with it.

The salads are fresh, ingredients are delicious, the dressings are just okay. I’ve also had colleagues order on the app and multiple ingredients were missing when it was delivered. Was disappointed to see that.

I ordered a salad that had chicken and requested it to be subbed out for steak. I received my bowl with 5 pieces of lettuce, no dressing, and SALMON. I am allergic to seafood. After $30+ and waiting over an hour for my order as a nursing mom working from home, I couldn’t even eat the lunch I ordered. No wonder the reviews here are so poor.

Excellent quality “fast food” with organic/natural ingredients that is very tasty. The employees are pleasant and efficient even though it’s really crowded around lunchtime. It’s a bit pricy but I do think there is a bit of “you get what you pay for” here. Although I’m not down in Shrewsbury often, I do try to eat here when able.
