I had eaten here when it was a different restaurant and I did like it back then, but it got old and rundown. new restaurant their food was what I had expected. They all have their differences so it’s hard to compare,I would eat here again maybe try something different but I did not have any problems with the food or the service.

My Taste Buds Went to ChengDu and Never Wanted to Come Home,
I’ve been on a quest for truly authentic, soul-satisfying Chinese food, and I think I may have just found the holy grail at ChengDu. This place doesn’t just cook; it performs culinary magic. From the first bite to the last, every single dish was an absolute showstopper.
From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The service was fantastic, and the food was on another level. ChengDu didn’t just hit the mark; it blew the mark to smithereens. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese meals, look no further!

We’ve been anticipating the opening of this Chinese restaurant since we were familiar with the old one that was here before. The interior looks about the same but it’s brighter. The current staff is very enthusiastic and polite. Calling in our orders to go, we were able to pick them up in a reasonable amount of time. The house Lo Mien was good, a bit on the sweet side, General Tso was standard, Crab Roe w/ Tofu was pretty good, house fried rice was good but the portion was a bit small for the price.

Today is my third time here and it’s the best visit yet! We went with a larger group and ordered a few extra dishes. Two of the best dishes today were not on the menu but rather part of the blackboard specials – sweet pea leaves and tofu and sliced beef in stone pot. Highly recommend these two! Also surprisingly good was the “Lion’s Head” meatballs….better than many others I have had. Our server was great. I didn’t catch her name but she was the only female server I saw there today.

This was some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Birmingham in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. I had an egg roll, seafood hot and sour soup, and general tso’s chicken. Delicious. The servers were extremely kind, and they gave my table a complementary order of Chinese donuts, which was so good. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area, and I look forward to returning and trying other items. They have a very extensive menu to choose from.

Ordered via Uber Eats and was our first time dining here. The cashew chicken was quite tasty, lots of cashews and veggies. Also enjoyed the fried rice and egg rolls. The Lo Mein left a little to be desired but it was ok.

I just had the best pork belly ever. We stopped in at Chengdu Cuisine and my wife decided to get the spicy pork with steamed buns that was on special. It was tender and crispy and delicious! The food and service here is always excellent!
