While strolling through the streets of Strasbourg, I discovered this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise.
The staff is extremely friendly, always smiling and helpful, and the service is incredibly fast.
Tasty dishes, nicely presented, and generous portions without spending too much.
I liked it so much that I went back three days in a row! A place I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for good food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

There is a reason why it is so inexpensive you know what they say if it’s too good to be true it probably isn’t.
This is my first time in a bouillon, and it will definitely be my last. The food quality it’s not too par. It feels like you’re eating leftovers. I must say what I enjoy the most was the Pumpkin Soup which was amazing.
I ordered several other beef product that I really couldn’t even finish.
The beef was very tough and hard to cut into it felt like we were served scrap or should I say the part you throw away or use in stew when cleaning a tenderloin.
As a chef, I feel that the food was under season but again that’s a personal taste and most definitely the quality use of products was absolutely not the best. Again, this is my own personal opinion. I am sure that other people will enjoy it.

If you really want to taste the typical French cuisine, then go to this Restaurant. I got emotional, the boeuf bourguignon was delicious, as my grandmother it always made. Not tasted it like 15 years. Really a compliment.

It was very close to the Paris’ bouillons. Really worth a visit. The mousse au chocolat and the crème brûlée were fantastic. Very kind staff and the service was very fast! During a 3-night stay we went there twice.

We came to this restaurant after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The waiter was unfriendly and at times even acted arrogantly.
Before ordering, I asked whether the dish I chose contained mayonnaise, and emphasized that it was important for it to be excluded. He said it didn’t. Yet in the end he brought the dish with mayonnaise!
The beef turned out to be completely rubbery, not tender and slow-cooked. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, the two waiters were practically shouting over each other right by the panoramic window. The distance between the tables is about 30 cm — there’s nowhere to put a bag except on the floor. On top of that, they served the wine in a warm glass, so of course the wine became warm too.
We left disappointed. With such service, we tipped accordingly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

We ate here in December 2025 and it was so great . We saw some earlier reviews mentioning rude service and some of the dishes not being large enough but we found the opposite – the staff were friendly and helpful despite us having very limited French, and the meals were filling and as nice as the bouillon in Paris. Service was fast and attentive and the prices almost half that of other restaurants in central Strasbourg.

We had a lovely dinner at this bouillon. The steak au poivre was excellent – cooked perfect medium with very good sauce and the fries were hot & fresh. Busy Friday night but we had a reservation which was perfect. The server spoke English and they had English menus which was appreciated. Good value, we’ll be back when we return to Strasbourg!! Good location with lots of other things to do in the area.
