We really like Wayback burgers. The Mint Hill location has some of the best all around service around. You feel welcomed as soon as you enter. The burgers are delicious and honestly the price isnt much different than a fast food meal. Just a simple classic and fries will do you good. If you’re in the area I’d recommend stopping here for lunch.

The fries were awesome, nice and hot and crispy. The tots were good too. The burgers were ok, didn’t really have any flavor or seasoning to the meat. The staff was very nice and helpful, although she was pushing the milkshakes.

I tried a few different things to get a feel for the flavors and ingredients.
The food was fresh, made to order very quickly, portions were pretty good.
I wish there were more cheese curds, and a few more onion rings, but both were good. I actually really liked the fried pickles, I wish they were little crisp but all in all they were good and of course highly recommending it fresh versus bringing it home for obvious reasons.
Cheesesteak, buffalo chicken sandwich, A1 Burger were excellent cooked and made perfectly, all the ingredients really pulled together for great flavor.
The ingredients on the sandwiches were very good from a portion perspective and quality.
All in all not bad. We love the Sundae shop and five guys is a step up from this, but all in all no complaints!

While waiting for the food, you could tell that she knew her regulars and they also adored her so that was cool! It’s one thing to have good food, but if you’ve got great service, and you make the time to build relationships to where they are regulars?
That says a lot about the owners/staff and is often just as important (if not more so) than the food!

They were welcoming, the food was amazing, and filling, a good bang for your buck. We had the cheese steak, one with mushrooms? And a burger. The red velvet shake was good could have been a little harder. We had 3 entrees with 2 drink and a shake cane out to under $40 But other then that we say a 8-10.

Great burgers and onion rings. Quick service too, far quicker then then that other new burger joint that starts with a W in Mint Hill. Better burgers too. Fantastic service from Ashley, y’all need to give her a raise. Rarely does anyone check on us in a fast food joints, she did. Keep up the great work and burgers.

My nightlight was the pistachio shake! The food was delicious and good ol American cheesy melty burgers! Grilled chicken sandwich was delicious as well, hot and juicy! The service was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming. A little crowded inside during winter but they have a good outside setup. Great parking!

Everything is made to order so it may be a little slow at times but it was easy to order on the kiosk and the staff was friendly. Worth the price of the food.

A friend recommended this restaurant to us and it was great! We were greeted and were patiently attended to. I paired my hamburger and fries with shake and it was the perfect combination. We will definitely eat there again!
