Pit King BBQ reigns over the mass amount of BBQ trucks in Texas, serving up BBQ of kingly stature. You don’t claim the title of pit king for no reason. No, Pit King BBQ earned its status, serving up the best in low and slow smoked meats over a pit that Houston has ever seen. Everything on the menu is put through the proverbial fire, including hand crafted sides using only the freshest quality ingredients to premium cuts of meat slathered in homemade BBQ sauce. It’s a precursor to a meal that’ll fill you up, and stays true to that old Texas standard: everything is bigger and better here. And that’s just the stuff you’re getting at Pit King BBQ.

Reviews
FOOD:My sausage looked different from his. My brisket was dry and my Mac & cheese was soggy and coagulated. My Dirty rice was dry and had some grains that weren’t completely cooked.
⚠️OVERALL: I ONLY bring this up because I feel it’s relevant in my review….could be something could be nothing buuuuut the only difference between me and everyone else who received their food was our ethnicities. I wasn’t black.
1) My sliced beef sandwich was as small as a McDonald’s jr burger. ( not kidding) and the 12.00 price was disappointing. The brisket had a good flavor just not enough meat.
2) My green beans were a bit soggy but they too had good taste.
3) The restroom and dining area was very clean and orderly.
Overall experience was just ok.
Parking onsite, drinks available for purchase. We got our order to-go and it took less than 10 minutes to get our food. Recommend if you’re in the area and are looking for BBQ!
Moist brisket was good, but the pork ribs felt and tasted like they were from yesterday or the day before.
Sausage was dry and stale.
Service friendly, establishment looked and felt like most independent BBQ places.
Could have been an off night, but I’ll think twice about returning.
I had previously left a negative review after a disappointing order but I’m so glad I gave this place another chance. I went back recently and was blown away—the food was fresh, flavorful, and the service was excellent. It’s clear they’ve improved, and I’ll definitely be back. Hats off to the team and the manager
