This is a hidden gem for authentic Tamil Nadu-style food. The Kal dosa with chicken curry is delicious and Madras chicken kothu parota truly stands out, flavorful, well-made and genuinely authentic.
The Serrava mutton dum biryani is spectacular, rich, aromatic, and packed with deep flavors. While the ambience is simple and neutral, the food is absolutely top-notch.
Overall, this place is underrated and a must-visit for anyone craving real South Indian Tamil Nadu cuisine. Highly recommended!

I ordered takeout for the Madras Chukka Tawa Style and the Hyderabadi mutton dum biryani. The food was okay overall. The appetizer was a little too oily for my taste, but the flavor was still good. The biryani had room to improve. If anyone from the restaurant is reading this, I would really recommend working on the flavor of the rice because it feels like it could be much better.
The service was nice though. The people at the counter felt kind and genuine, and the place has that simple Indian small-restaurant vibe.

I recently ordered from TN Madras Kitchens in Hamilton, NJ, and absolutely loved the food! Every dish had authentic flavors and was perfectly cooked.
The Tawa Egg was delicious — flavorful, slightly spicy, and cooked just right. The Veg Biryani had that perfect South Indian aroma, with well-seasoned rice and fresh vegetables. The Indo Noodles (Veg) were a pleasant surprise — full of flavor, not oily, and with just the right texture. And the Segara Chicken Rice was outstanding — tender chicken, great portion size, and a wonderful balance of spices.
Overall, the food tasted homemade, fresh, and satisfying. Definitely one of the best South Indian restaurants in the area — highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Tamil Nadu-style dishes!

The food was good, but the chutneys were really cold, and a few items from the menu weren’t available during dinner, so If you’re particular about certain dishes, it’s a good idea to call ahead to avoid disappointment. There’s also a small charge of $0.50 for the water bottle — just something to note. The seating could use a bit of love; some tables were wobbly and toppling, and a few seats felt a little snug. Service was on the slower side, so hopefully that improves next time. Overall, a nice spot with tasty food and room for a few comfort upgrades!

Staff is friendly and courteous. Food was just amazing, I never had such authentic south indian food in US. Medu vada was very soft, and poricha kizhi parotta (portion size was very big) was delicious.
Would recommend this place to anyone coming to New Jersey.

We ordered kal dosai and vadacurry. Vadacurry was truly awesome more tastier than the ones that we get in Chennai. Kizhi parotta was very tasty. Veg briyani was very good. We asked for kid and they made it with mild spice. Totally recommend this place with many vegetarian options.

The interiors were nicely done with wall art featuring essence of Tamil Nadu..
We liked the Kadai Paneer and Butter Milk. They didn’t have items like Idiyappam, CurdRice, Rasam or Iruttukadai Halwa at the time we were there. Expected Madras Coffee on the menu but unfortunately it wasn’t there. Didn’t try any non veg items either. Would be visiting again to try out different dishes for sure. The toilet is well maintained.

Went there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. First of all its a new restaurant but it was full when we arrived, though they have a small dining area. The food was freshly prepared and was tasty. My daughter had the Indo Chinese chicken noodle and they made it mild specifically catering to our needs, my daughter loved it. My wife had the Egg Parotta and I had the Chef special Mutton Kizzi Parotta and both were very tasting full. Loved the food. Would recommend people to visit.
