Bay View is honestly one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you’re positively overwhelmed—in the best way—by the unique interior design, the stylish details, and the overall atmosphere. It feels special, vibrant, and welcoming all at once.
The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. As for the food: outstanding. I loved the local tuna, the octopus, and the red snapper the most—amazing quality, perfectly prepared, and full of incredible aromas. The tuna tartar is also absolutely delicious and a must-try.
One of the coolest highlights is the customization: you can choose exactly how many grams of fish you want and then decide how it should be prepared. Such a great concept for seafood lovers. Next time, I’m definitely trying the fish in a sea salt crust!
If you’re in town and craving truly great fish, Bay View is the place to go. We’ll 100% be back!

This restaurant is the best in St. julians. The food is extremely delicious. I am so happy with the food i recommend to order the bayview platter its excellent the fish soup is perfect for the cold weather and the risotto is perfect! Waiter OM is very accommodating. Perfect place to dine in

We went to Bayview Seafood House with the family and had a really great meal! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, especially the kind staff there.
We shared a mix of dishes, and everything was spot on. The fried seafood was light, crispy, and very fresh, especially the prawns and calamari, which were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all, which is seems to be extremely hard to find nowadays. We also had spaghetti with squid, which was full of flavour and nicely balanced, as well as some meat dishes that were tender and well prepared.
To top it off, we enjoyed a bottle of wine that paired really well with the food and made the whole experience even better. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and everyone around the table was happy.
All in all, Bayview Seafood House is a great place for a family meal with quality food and a relaxed vibe. Can’t wait to visit again!

I came as a party of two on a weekday and there was no waiting time. The food was good but nothing special. The highlight of the meal was the calamari, and the fries were also extremely crispy. The seafood platter was enjoyable, however, I had better seafood elsewhere. The complementary bread was served warm and also pleasantly enjoyable. I however must praise the service from the waitering staffs which was extremely attentive and friendly.

Brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere, brilliant service. Can‘t ask for more. Also got limoncello on the house. And the price wasn’t bad either. We had 3 mains and 3 drinks and paid €95. couldn’t fit dessert in otherwise would have gone for the caramel mousse. Portions were good too.

We had dinner there on 29 Jan 2026. There were not many customers in the restaurant. The waiter provided excellent service and the food was superb. The octopus was fresh and beautifully grilled. The seafood platter was of high quality, as the lobster and scallop meat were both tender and well-cooked. We also love the risotto and pasta which had rich flavour. The overall dining experience was excellent and we really enjoyed the food.

However, in my experience, the fish was a bit overcooked, which affected the overall taste and texture. The service was also a little too slow, especially considering the number of guests, although the staff was polite. On the positive side, the restaurant itself looks very nice, clean, and well presented. With better timing in service and more attention to cooking the fish perfectly, this place could offer a much better overall experience.

The food was excellent. We had fried calamari, duck spring rolls, pasta with beef fillet strips and a steak and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we felt comfortable every single moment we spent in this restaurant. I even received a special holder for my handbag, and when I asked where the restroom was, someone kindly guided me there. We were regularly asked if everything was okay, and I must say, I’ve rarely experienced such genuinely kind service. I’d honestly love to fly this team over to Austria. We’re sadly not used to that level of kindness there! The atmosphere was beautiful, with a stunning view of the sea, and thanks to the open kitchen, we could even watch the chefs at work. Soft, relaxing music was playing in the background, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Amazing place and athmospehere. The seafood was more than perfectly delicious and fresh. Here are the most friendly, polite and smiley people from the staff. I’ve never had before such a good customer sevice and honest welcoming. The service and the food are 5 star! When I am in Malta next time I will visit again that awesome place and will tell my friends and relatives to visit it. I also do strongly recommend everyone not to hesitate where to go if they want something really good in the world of tasty food
