My boyfriend, myself and my friend were searching for a good Mexican restaurant with big margaritas. We struck gold with El Mocajete! When we walked in we were quickly greeted by a friendly server and sat right away. He was very nice and answered all of our questions and provided the flavor options for the margaritas. I got the beef tostada, my boyfriend got the chicken enchiladas and my friend got the shrimp tacos. All the food was tasty and didn’t taste like the typical microwaved frozen Mexican restaurant food. We also got the margarita flight and it was worth the money! My boyfriend’s margarita was large and delicious. Great experience over all, we were so happy with it and we will be returning for sure! Five stars all around.

Tonight I came to the best Mexican restaurant, El Molcajete Mexican Grill, based on their Google reviews. Thank you Google!! The food was delicious, the cocktail fantastic, and the atmosphere and service incredible. Do yourself a favor and make this your favorite Mexican restaurant! They also have a fantastic happy hour every day from 3 to 5 PM. I can’t wait to come back.

Pretty mellow, comfortable seating, the atmosphere was felt welcoming. Friendly service from all staff. They were accommodating to my questions about the dishes and offered free samples. The food was top tier, service top notch, went with the atmosphere.

Service here is super good. They meet you at the door and I was seated immediately. They kept my drink topped, and the chips, salsa, and refried beans at my table full.
The food here is actually so good too. My go to is the molcajete sampler. Its a massive amount of food for a very reasonable price. Everything thats meant to be crispy is crispy, and they are clearly using fresh ingredients.
Overall I haven’t personally found better Mexican cuisine in the valley. If you like Mexican, you literally cant go wrong here.

Great Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. The meat trio molcajete came bubbling hot in a traditional stone bowl, loaded with shrimp, chicken, beef, melted cheese, onions, and peppers. It was flavorful and hearty, but a bit too salty — especially the mushrooms. The grilled chicken salad was a highlight — beautifully plated with fresh cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and avocado slices. The grilled chicken was tender, smoky, and not greasy at all.
