Seoul in Dallas ! We had a most memorable Korean family meal this place. We had tried K bbq, grilled fish & cold noodles and they were so tasty with original flavors, and service was fantastic. They had a salad bar which we could select as pre- meal appetizers which included fresh salads and many Korean side dishes including Kimchi.

This is my favorite Omi location! They have all the buffet style Banchan and sauce buffet style which I loved the concept! The meats are good and my favorites are L.A. Galbi, thick cut pork belly, beef tongue and beef brisket! I have been here many times! Friendly staff and great atmosphere!

We had not eaten here for years, and unfortunately, we were disappointed with several things. Service was very slow, and without someone at our table who could speak Korean, communication was quite difficult. I even pressed the service button on the wall but received no response.

The food itself was decent, with a few standout flavors, but overall the experience felt average compared to other Korean BBQ spots in the area. The meat quality was okay, but we were only allowed to order three dishes at a time despite having five adults at the table, which made the meal less enjoyable. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, but service really brought the experience down.

Finally, this is the only restaurant I’ve been to that automatically included gratuity for a table of just five people, which felt unusual.

Suzy is amazing! She’s been our waitress multiple times and always remembers us when we come in. She checks on us and makes us feel so welcome. This is our favorite Korean BBQ spots because of her.

BEST Korean food ever!! We were going to a Korean restaurant that my parents found back in 1994 and a few weeks ago they changed the cook after 20+ years and we were devastated that it no longer tasted the same. We found Omi on Google and just tried it and we are obsessed!! Better than our old Korean restaurant. We now have found our new Korean restaurant home! (All you can eat kimchi and side dishes)!!!

We had a fantastic lunch at Omi, thanks especially to our server, Suzy! She was kind, generous, and very efficient. She explained the open salad bar and even went to get condiments for us to enjoy with our sides. Suzy gave helpful menu recommendations, checked in multiple times, and made sure we had a wet washcloth and napkins to keep our hands clean- such a thoughtful touch.

We ordered the beef bulgogi and galbi dishes, and the portions were generous and delicious. The open salad bar is a great addition, and everything came together for a really enjoyable lunch experience.

My mom and I went to Omi after the remodeling and its so great/ clean! The staff gave us great recommendations on what to choose and were so engaging. We got the all you can eat Korean BBQ and man we are STUFFED! The food tastes amazing, the unlimited side dishes are fresh and pair so well with all the meat! My personal favorite side was the steamed egg! We both highly recommend this place so much and it is now our go to spot for Korean BBQ!

I learned that management changed the menu and added salad bar a few months ago. This is a good move. The new menu provides easy to choose meat selections. The salad bar makes it much easier to choose and come back for more ! Ommi cucumber salad is the best in town!! My family and I enjoyed our dinner and will definitely make this place our go to for Korean BBQ place.
Note – when you come in at the time they’re just open on that day, please be patient with the service. Come at later time if you don’t want to wait.

They’ve changed the menu, they’ve changed the layout, and they’ve changed the service. The prices are higher, albeit they did add more meat options. They’ve removed the glass wall, making the place more open and less homey. They no longer bring out the side dishes that are traditionally served with KBBQ; instead they have Chinese buffet-style area where you can pick up side dishes that have really nothing to do with Korean food. The japchae was on a warm tray that made them all mush. I asked them about the sweet potato side dish they used to serve and they brought me potato salad.

The KBBQ brisket was too lean and burnt quickly while cooking. Too lean and too thin.

I honestly thought the owners had gotten rid of the former staff, but I almost cried when I noticed some of them were still there. It was a lot of change too fast for me, I’m too much a creature of habit and I think that these changes are not my cup of tea. Personally, I’m not planning on returning even though we used to visit almost every other week.
