The Turkish coffee was great. Will be back for more. The latte was just as delicious.
The pastries were the star ✨️ I devoured them they were so good. The cheese filled one that looks like am empanada was my favorite. I’ll be ordering two next time. The beef filled one was my second favorite.
Don’t walk to get here….run. You will not be disappointed.
Ouch! I only stated what was facts. Nothing more and nothing less. My rating was 3 stars not 2. I hope everyone enjoy’s the 50% discount on me!
Original Review:
We have been meaning to come to this cafe for a while but didn’t get the opportunity until today.
We ordered 2 Classic Cheese, 2 Loaded, Hot Chocolate with Cream and Turkish Tea.
It pains me to write this review but here is what happened. When we arrived there were only 4 customers in the cafe. We placed our order and waited for our food. More customers came in after us and did the same.
After 30 minutes we still didn’t receive our food but the customers that came after us had gotten theirs. After 50 minutes we still hadn’t been served so we addressed this with the owners.
They were extremely polite and apologetic. We are looking forward to returning to sample some other dishes and add a few more stars. Maybe we will get to see the turkey walking around in the car park again!
The staff member working (alone?) was very kind and patient with me, as I asked questions about their success so far, what desserts he’d recommended, etc.
I love coffee and so I ordered a Turkish coffee (started without milk but ended up needing it after tasting) and baklava (one of the only items not made in house).
He assured me that the coffee would be strong but not bitter and he was right! However, I found that with a small amount of milk, it was perfectly balanced.
I sat by the large window and felt comfortable and relaxed. There were a few other tables with patrons and the atmosphere was nice.
I bought a slice of the Dubai cheesecake to go and for $6, I only ate 2 of the 6 pieces of baklava while I was there, so I took the rest home.
Very fair price point and delicious baked goods and coffee. I will return to try their lunch options soon!
Would highly recommend!
When the cafe started filling up, it got a bit louder, but it was far not as bad as other cafes or restaurants. However, it might have been a good idea to turn the music down a bit. The sound is Turkish music, calming and relaxing. But when there are too many people they try to overshout the sound.
This was my second visit, and I did my stay enormously.
The first time I had a mere coffee, which was very good, this time I had a cappuccino and a ‘Mixed Berry’ waffle, which was absolutely perfect! The small one was just enough to be filling without overstuffing me, the waffle was made fresh, with fresh berries and bananas, served warm, and enjoyable.
The service here is excellent, and I’m surely going to come back and try other things, in particular the well-recommended Dubai Waffle.
Thank you to my kind friend. Ended a good two day trip with a great experience. All food and desserts looked so good I couldn’t pick!
Gave me tea for the ride!!!!
100% Halal menu btw!!
