Picked up Shake Shack for the first time today and it was pretty good! After seeing the low reviews about long wait times, I decided to place an order online so I wouldn’t have to wait. Bonus: on Fridays, online orders get a free fry!

The burgers are tasty, but a bit small for how much they cost. The veggie patty they have is good, not the best I’ve had but definitely not the worst! I got the crinkle fries with just salt, and they were pretty unremarkable. The mango passionade was good! Not too sweet and refreshing.

First time at this Shake Shack. Overall food is pretty good and the Korean spiced fries with cheese dipping sauce were different.

Even with a brief false alarm, the team stayed calm and communicated clearly. My food came out fast and tasted great. The cashier was super friendly!

I was a bit hesitant to visit at first because of some of the previous negative reviews, but I decided to give it a try since it’s nice to have a Shake Shack nearby. I visited around 5 PM, and it was quite crowded. Despite the rush, the female staff member taking orders was very friendly, which made a great first impression. I waited about 20 minutes for my food, but the burger tasted just as good as the ones I’ve had at other Shake Shack locations. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. I’d love to come back once things settle down a bit more.

Kiosk works well, but there are only 2, so the line can back up fast. Also, the kiosks are located poorly in the very front of the building, so you can’t even open the doors or get inside because the line of people is blocking. Pretty friendly service. Food came out quick. Burgers were good. Hot dog was ok. Bacon was flabby, almost raw, one of the extremely rare times I’ve actually thrown bacon away, the line was too long to stress about getting back up there to complain. Fries were excellent. Cookies and cream shake was barely ok, every other shake place in Gainesville is better by a wide margin (CFA, Potbelly, Smash Burger). In your face advertising/promoting of Pride colors on the Shake Cup, and this was in July. As for me and my house, we would not come here again.

Went in around 8:30pm on a Sunday with my husband. We ordered two burgers, two fries, a milkshake and small soda. The fact it was $56 was crazy but this was dinner plans so we continued with placing the order at the kiosk. The dining room was absolutely disgusting. Trash on the tables and floor with food remnants everywhere. It took 20 minutes for the food to be brought to us and the teenage worker apologized for the wait. We were two of 7 patrons in the store (family of 3, a couple, a single man) all of which had already had their food delivered. The food was not impressionable. The burger had no flavor, the fries overcooked. The shake turned out fine. The ketchup station was completely gross. When we left, there was only one trash receptacle available as another young worker already shut down another receptacle option. My experience at this particular location has never been this bad and I truly hope management takes into account the multiple negative reviews and makes some changes.

Our first visit. We were headed over to Smashburger but decided to give this a try. We were not disappointed.
The place is high-ceilinged, light and airy, with huge windows and indoor/outdoor seating. Decor is minimalist but classy. You can order at the counter, where the staff is exceptionallly helpful, or at a kiosk.
We both had the Shack Burger, a basic cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onions and their special sauce. We thought it would be a good way to see how good the burgers are. We shared a fry and a vanilla shake.
Our food was delivered to our table in less than ten minutes. The burgers are essentially smash burgers but they are done to perfection, tasty and larger than the toasted and buttered brioche bun. Toppings are fresh and crisp. This is a great burger! The fries are frozen crinkle cut. They’re acceptable but the next time we may order either the spicy fries or the loaded ones. The shake was luscious and thick but not too thick as some others can be.
Our bill was $28. We thought it was very reasonable and left with full and content bellies.
Our evaluation; the food is fantastic, the staff is great and the prices are moderate.
We will be back to explore the rest of the menu.

I came to this location anticipating a good burger and shake as I’ve been to other locations which were really good. What I got, was truly disappointing. My mom and I ordered 2 burgers and 1 side of fries. My mom wanted to order in person to pay with cash, but there was no one at the register and we stood there for at least 10 minutes. We wanted the seasoned fries but they said they were out of the seasoning supposed to be used? We waited for over 45 minutes for our order and when it was finally ready, it was cold. The burgers were overdone and bland, we didn’t receive the shake shack sauce because they were out of that according to staff. We decided to order a shake to see if those were good but it took another 30 minutes and it was watery. I recommend going to Smashburger, Five Guys, Fosters, even Burger King, or anywhere else as this place is overpriced and not worth the time.

For Yankees (northeasteners) this angus!!Angus!!. No its not angus. No napkins, look what had to be used for ketchup.. where is the double patty? Did not receive double patty. No free refills…. that was definitely the New York City experience. You better go to Five Guys not this place I paid $5 extra for less quality. No thank you portions are small… go to fosters or 5 guys. Not coming back.. I’ll give my $ somewhere else…

Super super overpriced, smash burgers and french fries. $70 to feed two people. Food took 29 minutes to get to our table. Ordered a shake after the meal that took another 26 minutes. Don’t go here.
