With the decline in quality of some of my other favorite taco spots in Tampa I was delighted with my experience at Lorita’s. The restaurant is located in a mall and food is ordered at the counter. Service is friendly and fast and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large. The birria taco was absolutely delicious. The Al pastor was a close second. The pollo asado bowl was enormous and more than I could eat in one sitting. The owner was there as well and he went table to table to chat with guests and make sure everyone was having a good time. If you are craving good Mexican food this place is a great spot to check out.

I absolutely love this place. I come here about 1–2 times a week and it’s always such a great experience. The tacos are always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. And the taro boba tea is soooo fire — it’s honestly one of my favorite drinks to get here. You can really tell they care about the food they serve. Every time I come, everything tastes just as good as the last time. It’s become one of my favorite spots and I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend! ❤️

Lorita’s was very nice! Small, quaint restaurant that accommodated a party of 12 with short notice. The food was delicious and plentiful! I personally enjoyed the birria burrito. The chips and dips were good. The family meal was huge with lots of food and choices for everyone!

We just had this little authentic Mexican spot for a quick lunch and wow, it was legit one of the best we’ve had in a while.
The tacos were packed with flavor—super fresh toppings, perfectly seasoned meat, and that fresh lime kick. And they’re HUGE, The burrito was the same deal: massive, stuffed with everything good, and full of flavor.
Then the nachos… the cheese was next level. Gooey, melty, with home made nachos. We had the crème brûlée and bubble tea that was amazing.
Everything tasted real—like actual Mexico, not some watered-down version. Service was quick, prices were solid for the portion sizes. Ate the food too quick for pictures.

Very good authentic style mexican. This restaurant is counter service and I appreciated how quickly and smoothly the whole operation is. The staff was friendly, our food came out quickly and we enjoyed the flavors of everything from the queso and the birria. Everything tasted fresh.

That burrito is no joke. Absolutely stuffed with filling—generous portions of seasoned shrimp, rice, lettuce, and fresh toppings all wrapped in a nicely toasted tortilla. You can tell they don’t skimp on ingredients. The quesadilla my wife had was equally legit.
The vibe here is casual and welcoming—industrial ceilings, warm lighting, and they had festive holiday decorations up that gave it a cozy feel. Clean space, friendly atmosphere, and it was busy with what looked like a mix of regulars and families.
Loved the variety of salsas on the table to customize your meal. If you’re in the Tampa area and craving authentic, fresh Mexican food without the fuss, Lorita’s delivers.

Great food and customer service! I ordered the birria tacos, the tortillas were crispy and the meat was well seasoned and tender. I do wish they were cheesier but they were still very delicious. Libia was my server and she was so considerate. Definitely would come back!

the food was awesome! got the tostada, a burrito, and two tacos- everyone was happy and left full. we were there on a friday evening and the service was great as well. order at the front and they bring the food to you. the alcoholic beverages were tasty, too!
