Growing up in Jalisco, Ruben Leon and Josue Flores and his brother in law, loved their grandfather’s traditional cooking, when they immigrated to the United States about 25 years ago, they all worked in a Mexican restaurant in Virginia and North Carolina and longed for the cuisine of their childhood, so they decided to open a restaurant together.
Familiar Mexican food is served at this casual venue with a roomy, stylish interior.

Service is lackluster, however- takes roughly 15-20 minutes to receive your order, and was difficult to flag down a waiter, or they would be busy and forget to get back to you. I however advise one to offer them grace due to the possibility of being understaffed. When tended to, the staff were so warming, welcoming, accommodable, and impressionable; it truly feels authentic and you can see that every staff member genuinely cares and tries their hardest – even the manager is always present and circulating to check up on things (which is rare nowadays, so kudos to him!)
My waiter was Christian, and i appreciated his service, attentiveness, and ability to elaborate on any menu questions I had.
This restaurant is vivacious and plays music indoors and outdoors, and i wold highly recommend any group or individual to just go and vibe over a fantastic marg or some fajita taco salad!
Edited: Returned yesterday. Didn’t ask for manager but did let the server know the issue. He suggested ordering “extra crispy”. Order came out and was identical to first time not appearing to have been fried at all. Fried chimichangas are supposed to be entirely crispy all over. The server did inquire how it was and I pointed out the issue but turned down the offer to take it back. Guessing they don’t use a deep fryer or hot enough oil. Everything else about the place was great.
Update: Unfortunately, a small piece of bone was left in my carnitas tacos in my last visit and I chipped a molar. Could have been worse but still I am disappointed about the experience.
