Food was really good. Especially the chips. Our waitress was really good but when a large party came in, it took the bars attention so took about 15 minutes for some refills. It’s understandable though and nothing we were mad about. The fajitas were also really good and I have never been asked how I wanted my steak cooked for fajitas. Will be back for sure.

We enjoyed a Margarita and some Perfect Bite Nachos with Steak. Their chips and salsa is really good. We’ve been to Sombra several times and always enjoy it. We grabbed a quesadilla to take home with us for later.

I’ve yet to have a bad experience at Sombra Mexican Kitchen. Everyone’s so kind – from the servers to the hostess. The food is always hot and tastes amazing. The blackened redfish is great – highly recommend.

We’ve eaten here several times over the years while passing through. The food is pretty good. We had steak and chicken fajitas. I liked the chicken but I didn’t care for the seasoning on the steak. However, my wife enjoyed the steak. We got some cheese dip and we didn’t like it at all. It’s super thick and we didn’t like the taste. The server did take it off our bill though. The chips and salsa were good. My daughter had the chicken strips and she enjoyed them.

Sombra is a place we always passed by and wanted to give them a try. We decided to go on Saturday. The hosts were very nice! Greeted us with a smile and got us a table immediately. Our waitress was so nice and welcoming! The food was awful. We ordered the Carne Asada Fries and Fajitas. The Carne Asada fries have cheese, cilantro, and onions. We received the order and it had some type of sauce that was not on the description. The waitress was very nice offered to remake it because it seemed wrong. They put bbq sauce on the Carne Asada fries which Is absolutely wrong – tasted terrible. We also ordered fajitas with chicken and steak. We asked for the steak to be well done because this is not a steak house and thats what we prefer. The steak was not well done. The food lacked flavor and tasted gummy. The presentation of the food was unsatisfactory. I would not recommend to anyone. There are far better restaurants in the area that we would recommend.

Sombra is absolutely a beautiful restaurant and the staff was very friendly. However, the food and Margaritas were Terrible. We had the luncheon fajitas. The rice was cold and the beans and fajitas were lukewarm. Just to be Blunt I’m used to my fajitas coming out On a sizzling dish with plump, sautéed onions and green peppers. That is not what we received. Regarding the margaritas, it did not taste like a margarita. In fact, my husband sent the first one back because he didn’t like it and the second one wasn’t any better.

The food is good, but not the best I’ve ever had. At their prices, you would expect the best. The service has often been lacking as well. We asked a couple of questions and the server had no idea and made little attempt to assist. It’s located in a nice area. The restaurant is clean and large enough that you don’t often have to wait. My wife really likes it for the atmosphere. Not exactly #BobbySizedPortions but plenty for her.

This place did not disappoint! From fresh, delicious Mexican cuisine to the vibe and comfort of the outdoor patio, and the top notch service from Glen. I will for sure be coming back. The taco salad was delicious as well as the chimichanga with delicious, crispy, flaky outer layering of tortilla. The champagne margarita was a bubbly version of the classic we all love a know. The cheese dip was amazing with their obviously, fresh house made well seasoned chips. I highly recommend.
