Decided to range out a bit from the house and picked this place for a breakfast based on the reviews. I drove over (note one of the pictures is wrong and shows their more modern elk grove location) and pulled up to the old “original” location.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside but they have their own parking lot and it was pretty full. Which was a good sign for a Wednesday morning that they must be doing something right. There were a couple of spots open so I pulled in and went inside.
The place is small and there was a small line of people, but I don’t think any of them waited for more than a few minutes. There’s a list to put your name on but I grabbed one of the four counter seats and checked out their extensive menu.
I thought I was going to get breakfast but I noticed their blue plate lunch specials up on the wall so changed up and got the meatloaf and brown gravy, with real mashed potatoes and green beans.
Everything came out in a few minutes and was delicious. The meatloaf was good and the gravy tasty. Everything was lightly seasoned so I gave it a light sprinkle of salt which really brought it up to prime comfort food status.
The beans were southern style and very well seasoned so didn’t need anything else. The coffee was very good, mild, diner type brewed coffee and they have a large selection of creamers if you want some extra flavor.
Service was fast, friendly, and I absolutely enjoyed my meal and will be back again. Highly recommended!

I stopped by after reading all the great reviews on Yelp! I ordered the New York steak and eggs. The steak was good, but it was nothing fancy. It was very much a classic diner style steak. It came out a bit overcooked for my liking, but still flavorful and satisfying overall.
The highlight of this place was the atmosphere and service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite the restaurant being busy. The place had a lively, upbeat vibe, which made it an enjoyable dining experience.

My friends and I wanted to enjoy a good brunch together. It was recommended that we try the stagecoach. I really appreciated that they had an indoor and outdoor section to the restaurant. The Ambiance of the restaurant really gives you a 70s feel with wooden booths. Due to the amount of people in our group we chose to sit outside and they were easily able to accommodate us. I was able to have the turkey links breakfast which came with eggs and potatoes with the side of English muffin. I really enjoyed the coffee it was strong and not weak. The serving staff was very accommodating and was able to help everyone to get the meal that they wanted. Everyone’s food came out hot and fresh. I definitely would return to try out some other menu items.

As I looked around the restaurant, HUGE PORTIONS are deliciously standard.

Delicious comfort food. Large portions, reasonably priced. Coffee had a nice smoky flavor to it. Everything we’ve had there has been made well. Would recommend the biscuits and gravy plates for days when you’re ready to do some serious eating. Friendly and attentive staff. It’s a compact but cozy space.

This place is amazing if you haven’t been. I go a little crazy because they have alllll the good stuff (fried green tomatoes), but then I get so much food that I can feed my guy breakfast for a whole week.
Also, eggs. I’ve been missing them (there under my gravy) because I refuse to hunt them down unless they were paired with Chicken Fried Steak.

First time here. Classic diner breakfast. Large selection of your classic breakfast options. Each day a variety of specialty pancakes. Tried 2 types of omelets. Cooked perfectly. Large portions. Pancake of the day was delish. Older establishment but what stood out was the service. From walking in the door to paying for the check every single person was phenomenal. Attentive, friendly, all the good things. I would come back here for breakfast anytime! Reasonable prices also. Dog friendly outside tables.

First time coming to stagecoach, I must say it was a great experience, I love the family vibe feeling. There was many things on the menu that I must go back and try, I got me a simple breakfast for my first visit and must say it was very delicious didn’t have one thing over cooked or undercooked. Everything is decently priced and worth every penny. The lovely lady today was sweet and ready for the day to get busy which is great to hear she likes to stay busy. Definitely will be returning to this location .
