was visiting in the area when we stumbled by this strings location. we’re from the city and have tried the chinatown location so we knew this was going to be good. i was so excited to see that they had the kaisen don on their menu. the chicago chinatown location had it briefly, and i was hoping to have to again. i know strings is mainly known for their ramen, but don’t miss out on the kaisen don. it’s so good and worth the money!

My Ramen was really tasty!! I went with the spicy garlic veggie Ramen. It did not disappoint. My daughter had a rice bowl, and she said it was also a really good. Restaurant was consistently busy on this cold day.

This is such a nice place for ramen and rice bowls. They give very generous portions and the food is delicious. It’s nice having the option to order from your table digitally as well as with a server. All servers are very friendly.

The service was amazing!!! Our waitress never left our drinks empty! She was attentive and very sweet! She was also the only waitress working and attended everyone in the restaurant efficiently. I would definitely come back again and again!! :))

Food and service were not bad, all servers were really attentive. The only thing is the management needs to do better, they have the open kitchen, so we can hear the manger was yelling at the kitchen and servers. And if the ingredients have been updated or deleted, they need to modify the menu. And their AC was set up 87 degree, I don’t think it’s proper temperature for summer. Also, we ate the plastic pieces in our food, the server was dealing with it really professional, but if this was not the first time customer had this issue, management needs to figure out how prevent this happening again in the future

I personally love the vibes!.Me and hubby went to visit this ramen place!It never failed us!!. we had both miso ramen ———dang!its’s rich with taste. I had seafood and amazing and tasty!.My hubby enjoyed miso ramen with pork belly (meat were tender)!

The ramen was good, but I think you can get ramen that’s just as good if not better at other more affordable locations. My personal favorite is a place in DeKalb called Nami. Definitely worth a visit of you’re in the area. Otherwise everything else was good. P.S. DON’T get the chicken fried ice cream. The portion is small and it’s not even fried for real. They just grab it out of a freezer.
