I hadn’t been to this location and decided to have lunch. The staff was kind and friendly. I tried the shrimp and friend grits with cajun sauce as the cashier said I wouldn’t go wrong. She was surly right. Ooooh my, it was really good. The establishment was clean and plenty of tables. If you want to get a great meal and hangout with family and/or friends this is the place to do so. You will not go wrong.

Met some friends here for lunch. Staff was very friendly. Order from the counter and they give u a buzzer for when it’s ready. Cozy place with tables and booths. Have to say the booth seats were very low to the table, felt like we were almost sitting on the floor with the table at our chins. Other than that, the food was fabulous. We had the fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits and a shrimp poboy…before I could blink, my best friends plate was empty( she has the shrimp and grits)…. the grits were fried and I’m guessing she loved them. My poboy was really good, and the fried green tomatoes ( I don’t eat these often) were really flavorful…highly recommend them. Will definitely go back and get some take put before I leave the Houston area.

Great cajun food! Great atmosphere! Great customer service! Thank you Louis for taking great care of us. We called you answered with a wonderful personality. It seems like you really enjoy your job and it’s refreshing! I ordered the shrimp and fish with a side of hush puppies. My husband ordered the grilled seafood combo and my brother had the seafood platter with a bowl of gumbo. My brother said it’s just as good as first place gumbo cook-off. He did not even add hot sauce to it, which is something!
My husband loved his lunch as much as I did! The music really made me feel like I was on Bourbon st. So much that I started day dreaming of when we can get back there.Thanks again Louis for making our lunch day fantastic!

Service was great and the food delicious. Very clean and attentive staff. The restrooms were tidy and spacious the large stall had a changing table and a sink which was wonderful & convenient. We orders a kids tender, pecan crusted fish, stuffed fish, dirty rice, hush puppies, red beans & rice, jalapeño cornbread and the entrees came with garlic bread which was allllllll delicious & portions were generous in my opinion. Would definitely dine here again!

So I’m definitely a regular who spends a decent amount of money and tip very well and they added Cajun queso to their menu and they need to take it off immediately!!!! It’s runny no green chiles or rotel flavor it’s literally american melted cheese slices in a cup for 13 dollars TRY AGAIN!!!

It was great..good delicious food. The young ladies were very helpful with the menu items..the food had a good presentation, the fried green tomatoes were super…we placed a second order.. The only thing is some of the booths, you sink in, or should I say sink down.
Next time we will seat on on the tables with the wooden chairs. Ya should try it.
