The serving staff are excellent and friendly and handle complaints about the food very well. Probably because they have frequent practice with returning food to the kitchen. The pulled pork might have been smoked in house but the only flavor you get is the bbq sauce they smother it with. I’m guessing it’s sweet baby rays sauce. The butter noodles turned out to be oil noodle soup and the fried shrimp was chewy. However, the fried pickles were fantastic and they have a good selection of draft beers. Happy hour only includes the cheaper domestic beers like Miller lite.

Jaden was absolutely incredible. She was fast, friendly, and completely on top of things. We had a large gathering (11 people) and she really went above and beyond keeping up with orders and when the new people showed up she just kept up and really really did a great job. She’s a hidden gem. If the alehouse isn’t giving her a raise, they need to.

The food was high quality and really cooked well. 10/10 would go again.

Came in for an early dinner and were underwhelmed. They were not busy, and the service was moderately slow. Appetizer, was a 1/5 , pretzel or salty balls. Very greasy and undercooked. There was a pool of grease in bottom of serving dish. We informed server, but she didn’t say anything but ‘sorry’. Main dishes were ok, but nothing special. I was really surprised given other ratings. Won’t return.

We had fish sandwiches which were good, onion rings a little greasy, restaurant needs some more upkeep, staff were friendly but could be dressed better

The drinks are not bad prices they have draft and bartender made a great margarita and I would recommend it. Also, the buffalo mac & cheese is amazing. There is a Pac-Man machine inside. There’s a bar a lot of TVs and tables available place is kid friendly but also since it’s a bar atmosphere, we split the mac & cheese plate and they even brought it out of the plates and it was a lot of food

Great sports pub. I was driving from Tennessee to Florida, and I usually stop over in Brunswick, Georgia, because that’s about the halfway point. I usually eat at the hotel, but the desk clerk was mentioning this little pub nearby, so I decided to go.
Everything was great! They had my favorite beer on tap (Wicked Weed Pernicious), a giant salad for only $7.99, and the entrées were very good. I had the turkey club sandwich with fries, along with the 20 ounce beer. The bartender was very friendly and efficient, and it was a really fun crowd of locals.
In short, everything I want in a little local pub.

We stopped in to enjoy a Sunday dinner with a side of lakeside sunset. There was a bit of a wait for a table outside. Once seated, our server was polite and genuinely apologetic when my soda was forgotten for an extended period of time. It appeared extraordinarily busy (and surprisingly short staffed) so we quickly ordered our appetizer and meal at the same time to avoid return trips to the table. Unfortunately, this resulted in us waiting about 45 minutes for any food AND our appetizer arriving with our dinner. We ordered an oyster app, the scallop bistro salad and the ahi tuna salad. The food that arrived was to temp (though I kind of wished the ahi tuna was served warm instead of chilled) and the portions were generous. I particularly liked that my salad was loaded with sliced almonds and the ginger dressing was delicious. The crab stuffed oysters were good, though there was quite a bit of cheese and I didn’t taste any crab. (I love cheese so this didn’t bother me). The ambience was great and the music matched the mood you’d expect from a lakeside restaurant. Overall we had a nice evening and will definitely make a return trip hopefully soon. I know they experienced unusual events that affected service. As someone who works in hospitality, I think in the future, having the staff communicate expectations and/or delays at the start of service when days like that happen could go a long way in customer understanding.

Hit or miss. A huge miss this last time. Raw fries. Chewy wings. Salad with nasty bacon bits. It was so awful. Used to be amazing all the time. Even the honey mustard has changed. Won’t be back for a while.
