Ordered shrimp egg foo young. It was gross. The rice looked like it had been reheated from a week ago. There were no vegetables in the rice. Literally no taste to the egg foo young. Just lots of onions. I have NEVER seen egg foo young look like this before. $11 wasted. I had a bad feeling when I walked in and there were absolutely no customers or orders waiting to be picked up. Eat at your own risk.

Food was okay, but now wonder how fresh is the rice and I’ve been going there for years. The female owner has a very unfriendly demeanor with an apparent dismissive attitude. Also, she rations out the sauces even when you pay for extra. This female does not appear to care about her customers support. Maybe a course in interpersonal communication along with customer interaction would help her rather rude tightly wound attitude.

The very first time I attempted to get food from here using Uber Eats.
I’m in a hotel with no food. The food gets picked up and the driver sits in one spot for 45 minutes.
I texted the driver twice no response. I called the driver no response..
1 hour 15 minutes later I canceled the order and was charged $26 to compensate the driver and the restaurant. I contacted the Uber customer service team, they said sorry thank you for your feedback.

We used to go to Dragon Garden as it was close and really good. Since they closed, we were looking for legit standard Chinese takeout and think we’ve found it. The Pork Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic. They were not stingy at all with the pork or shrimp. The Pork was not fatty either. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overdone, but they loaded it with chicken, so good there too. The Wonton Soup was also great, huge dumplings and had great flavor. The Orange Chicken was also great, and you could actually taste the orange. Egg Rolls were pretty good, same as the Crab Rangoon. Service was great; they were really fast and really kind.
Overall, if you liked Dragon Garden in Northfield Center and are looking for replacement Chinese takeout, please consider this place. We will definitely be going back and they have earned 5/5.

I walked in a lunch to get 2 egg rolls. I was greeted RUDELY! The lady working greeted me with “What!?” I asked if she was having a bad day and she responded “everyone has bad days” VERY unprofessional. The restaurant was dirty , service was terrible. I WILL NEVER go again.
