Incredible food and friendly staff.
You need to walk up stairs when you come in but if you sit on the balcony you get a great view of the square.

This place was spectacular and exceeded all of our expectations. The food is such high quality, beautiful to look at and very easy on the stomach as they are not super heavy dishes but just the perfect amount.
On a beautiful sunny day, we highly recommend waiting for balcony seating because it just adds much more to the overall ambience.
Will definitely be stopping by again whenever we are back in Dahlonega and you should too!

Being from New Orleans, I was interested in trying this place, but also super skeptical. The seafood sampler was amazing, but that was about it. The ribeye was average and the red beans weren’t edible at all. The gumbo wasn’t the worst I’ve had, but it had PICKLES in it….enough said. My wife (also from New Orleans) got the Red Snapper Pontchartrain and said it was good, but nothing special. We’d definitely come back, as there were a couple more things I’d like to try.

I must add that the service was amazing. We sat in the bar area and were there around closing, and the entire staff made the environment a lot of fun!!

Awesome service food came out fast hot and delicioso. We had the beingnets….soooo goood our first time having them and they did not disapoint. The Abby was very well prepares and also tasty. Muffled omelet was parches full of vegies and a veriaty do meats. My favorite was the Isabelle’s bagel. Stake was cooked perfectly. Bagel was cooked expertly crunchy on the cut side and soft on the outside.

We try to eat at Bourbon Street whenever we are in Dahlonega. There are 2 levels of the restaurant but they treat the separately. Downstairs is larger with a bigger bar seating and several seats outside with table heaters as well.
We prefer to sit on the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the Christmas lights. There are lots of Cajun options. See the pictures of our food for this visit. The cup of gumbo was loaded and delicious. The burger was big and pretty decent. We loved the roasted sweet potatoes. And the crabcake was delicious. Nothing beats the views and location of Bourbon street. Plenty of street parking in front and behind the building.
There are lots of shops and other restaurants near by.
The Hall House hotel is also located on this property

My wife and I had an awesome experience here. Balcony seating over looking the square.
Gator bites were GREAT. Rice is soft, full of flavor and spice. Red snapper tasted very fresh and clean and full of flavors.
Finished dinner off with their signature beignet with dark chocolate made in the chocolate shop next door. It was very soft; flavorful , and fresh.
Great experience to make an anniversary dinner even more special.

Wonderful food! I had the Cajun combo and it was delicious. My best friend ordered crab puppies, crab meat and hush puppies combined. It was amazing. The service is great!! I would recommend sitting out in the porch that overlooks the Dahlonega square.
