Welcome to the 908 Bistro, a chef-owned restaurant in Yarmouth, MA, dedicated to creating unforgettable dining experiences that blend fine dining sophistication with the comfort of a neighborhood eatery. Operated by the wife and husband team, Versel and Lindsay Johnson, also residents of Yarmouth, MA, they have spent their entire working lives in the restaurant industry. In 2022, they finally got the chance to open their own restaurant in Yarmouth. Thanks to all their experience, the restaurant quickly became a hit, winning the Best New Restaurant on Cape Cod award from the Cape Cod Choice Awards in 2023. It was also featured in the Cape Cod Edible magazine and won OpenTable’s Diners’ Choice Award as a crowd favorite. Come give us a try!

First visit to 908 Bistro for us. We were greeted with a nice smile and brought to our table. Very nice rustic interior, has a small bar that is perfect fit, and I believe it sat 6 people. Our waitress was so warm and welcoming. The cocktail list was limited but looked great. The wine list had a nice selection as well. We ordered Calamari with fried pickles (sweet) and it was delicious. We ordered the Portuguese Seafood Stew and the Seared Scallops. Both were presented beautifully and had wonderful layers of flavor. The wine we ordered went very well with our meals. We had such a nice relaxing evening, we can not wait to go back and try out the other items on the menu. It was worth the visit, and I strongly recommend reservations.

Been coming to the Cape for years and we finally decided to try this place. When we got there we heard the people behind us complaining about their streak tips being charred, we should have left then. The fish tacos were as bland as it gets, my sons glass of sprite had a chip in the glass so I asked for a new glass of sprite, they brought him club soda. Sent that back and asked for the pineapple juice that came with the kids meal but they charged us for the pineapple juice. The fries were as plain as it gets, I’ve had better fries at McDonald’s. They tasted like something out of the frozen food section thrown in a fryer, there was no seasoning at all!. My daughters Mac and cheese was an experience, all the Mac and Cheese was literally stuck together like a snake when you lifted it off the plate. We exchanged that for the chicken fingers, which was good. My wife liked her meal but said it was nothing special, and the burger was a burger that my son got. Service was also pretty poor, there are maybe 8 tables in there, we were 1 of 4 tables being served and it took almost 40 minutes to get our meal. I would not recommend. Very pricey for what you get!

What a wonderful anniversary dinner we had tonight. The service was exceptional. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The food lived up to the hype. Which is a 1st for us. It was absolutely amazing.

This restaurant has only nine tables plus some seats at the bar (only wine and beer) but you should definitely stop by.
Start with the French onion soup which could be a meal in itself.
The swordfish was wonderful with a rich sauce served over risotto (or something similar). The scallops were just as delicious.
Portions were generous. The mains are around $30.
Worth a detour. I hope they continue to take reservations.

Dined @ 908 on Wednesday, sat at the bar and started with two glasses of wine. For dinner, we ordered the Korean BBQ Salmon Tacos and the Seared Ahi Tuna. Food was amazing as always!! The Korean Tacos were so delicious and my husband cleared his plate of tuna, left a grain of rice. Then to finish the meal we shared an Espresso Martini! It was one of the best that we’ve had!! Love 908 !!

Best restaurant is south Yarmouth food was amazing fresh and delicious. I had salmon and my husband had steak everything was cooked to perfection. We had a drink called pain killer it was very good. Can’t wait to return next yr.

We went during the summer months and had the jerk chicken and curry which were fantastic. Perfectly cooked and the flavor were on point. The atmosphere is cute but the place is very tiny so plan to wait.

My family and I visited 908 Bistro for a wonderful dinner. Every dish we tasted was very delicious especially the Tuna Sashimi and the 10 oz NY Steak. Desserts are delightfully portioned and the prices are very competitive. Every dish is freshly prepared by chef Versil.

Highly recommend! We stumbled upon this quaint space after a quick “food near me” search and it did not disappoint. I was worried we wouldn’t get a seat because it was 5:30 on a Friday but we were seated right away. The servers were attentive and kind. The food was absolutely delicious (my kiddo said it was the best Cesar salad he’s ever had and he ate almost every bite!). The butternut squash and pumpkin ravioli was delicious. The honey-glazed salmon was perfect. And I was pleasantly surprised to see a non-alcoholic beer on the menu. We got the chocolate cake to go and I’m glad we did!

Here as I’m writing this. Captain’s pub had a wait, so we came here and I’m glad we did. Service is fantastic. Food, incredible. Few local beers on tap and a decent wine selection. Highly recommended.
