We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Local Lime and overall really enjoyed it. The food was amazing, and the ambience was warm and inviting.

That said, we had a very odd service moment. Our server mentioned she’d bring us a dessert for our anniversary, but after we paid the bill she disappeared. When we finally got up to leave, she returned with something, said hi to us as we walked by, and then took the dessert back into the kitchen since we weren’t at the table anymore. It was just a strange, awkward ending to an otherwise great meal.

We’d still recommend Local Lime for the food and vibe, but I hope the team can tighten up the follow-through on special occasions.

Local Lime is a super fun, modern take on Mexican/Cali-Mex—definitely more “fresh + creative” than traditional/authentic, and it works. The vibe inside is lively and the place feels perfect for a casual hangout or date night.

We started with their Salsa Trio, and the Caribbean Mango salsa was the clear winner—bright, slightly sweet, and honestly the highlight of the sampler. The chips were fresh and surprisingly filling.

For mains, we tried chicken tacos and shrimp tacos—both were really solid, with the chicken being our favorite. And don’t skip the cilantro lime rice… it’s simple but super flavorful and pairs perfectly with the tacos.

We also ordered an artichoke-and-cheese item (forgetting the exact name), which was comforting and cheesy—great to share.

It was worth trying.

There are meals you eat because you’re hungry… and there are meals that remind you life is meant to be savored. Local Lime gave us one of those moments today.

Kyle greeted us with the kind of service you don’t see much anymore — not rushed, not scripted, just genuinely present. And when the food came out, it felt like the kitchen took the same care.

My wife ordered the Queso Cinco Enchiladas, and the first thing you notice is the heat rising off that golden crust — five cheeses melted into a creamy, bubbling blanket over roasted chiles and warm tortillas. It’s the kind of dish that makes you pause before the first bite because someone in the back poured real heart into it.

I ordered the Chargrilled Ribeye Tacos. Tender steak, a clean sear, seasoning that doesn’t try too hard, and sides that tasted fresh instead of forgotten. And the Heirloom Margaritas… cold, balanced, and made with respect for the glass they were poured into.

We didn’t just eat — we slowed down. We talked. We appreciated the moment.
And that’s what good food is supposed to do.
Local Lime earned every bit of today’s bill, and then some.

We’ll be back — not out of habit, but because it gave us something worth returning to.

Great menu, great service, awesome atmosphere. As a party of 5, we ate lunch here 12/26/25. The restaurant was full but we were promptly seated. We were able to decide what we were ordering by the time the waiter arrived, because they were so busy. The food came out quickly and everything was correct! Pictured below: chargrilled ribeye tacos, and spicy chicken tinga tacos!

Jackie suggested the rib-eye tacos…. food was great service was better. But, I couldn’t finish my food fast enough. The AC was blowing on me like it was dead of summer. I said something to Jackie about it. She apologized and said it was off. But, we both felt it blowing on us. She again apologized and said she was told it was off. Brrrrrrr

$60 for 2 people at lunch. WAY over priced for our order of lunch fajitas, 2 cheese enchiladas (tiny) a la carte, and a cheese fajita a la carte. We both asked for iced tea with lemon. And asked for lemon 4 more times during our meal but never got lemon for our tea and barely any ice. Also, my husband’s tea glass sat empty most of the meal. When ordering, I asked for corn tortillas. Husbands a la carte items arrived well before my fajitas which were brought with no tortillas. I asked for corn tortillas again and sat waiting. Had to ask one more time. Waiter brought tortillas and said they were making corn tortillas so here are flour tortillas while I wait. On his next pass by I held up the flour tortillas and explained I asked for corn because I have a gluten allergy. I also asked for lemon again but still did not get that. Had to ask for ticket and drink refills as well. Server was Jose. We were seated at a high top in the bar. We were there on a day trip to pickup equipment and I selected this restaurant due to the amazing reviews. We were there today Friday 12:45/1:30. Place was packed. This must be a place that pays Google to remove bad reviews. It’s just not that great and servers need better training. Also … this is the only Mexican restaurant I have ever ate at that does not provide chips and salsa. If they do … we did not receive any. The noise level is over the top. Bathrooms were NASTY. The only good thing i can say is there is plenty of big truck parking.

This place is fun but they really skimp on the food. Civiche is just tomatoes dressed to look like the measly 4 ounces of fish on here. Often place runs out of staples like rice on a Sunday as well.

Big fan of Local Lime in Little Rock so I was not surprised to have the same experience here in Roger’s. Taylor our waitress did an amazing job and would honestly sell this whole menu to one person if she could. Amazing job for the whole staff with the weather being at tornado warnings. Looks like everyone showed up and was ready for evening service. All in all great experience at a different location

I wandered into Local Lime in Rogers, Arkansas and suddenly my taste buds were doing the salsa! The tacos hit harder than a mariachi band on a mission, and the guacamole was so fresh, I’m convinced the avocados were serenaded at birth. Every bite was like a mini fiesta in my mouth, complete with the kind of zesty humor only a Tex Mex joint can serve up. The staff treated me like I was the guest of honor at a party I never knew I was crashing, and the margaritas? Let’s just say they’re liquid pure joy. If you crave brilliant flavors with a side of quirky charm, Local Lime is the ultimate flavor playground.

Trust me—the only thing missing was a conga line out the door!

If you’re curious about what makes Local Lime so uniquely vibrant, you might also enjoy hearing about their seasonal specials and offbeat menu names that keep the spirit of fun alive every day. Enjoy the fiesta!

First time coming in last night. The atmosphere is so cozy and romantic. This is the perfect spot for a date night. Our server Tyler gave great recommendations and was very attentive. One of his recommendations was the Birria Quesadilla, which was delicious! He also chose 3 random tacos for us to try and all were delicious. The local carnitas taco was the favorite of the 3. The margaritas were strong, but so tasty. Definitely give this spot a try. We will be back.
