First time visitor. We ordered Zydego shrimp, shrimp and grits, and chicken and waffles.

Zydego shrimp – it was seasoned tiny baked shrimp on a huge bed of shredded lettuce

Shrimp and grits – grits that taste like old, unseasoned mashed potatoes and large shrimp. Only seasoning was on the sauce. The garlic bread was good.

Chicken and waffles – it was dry, shredded chicken deep fried in a hard batter. Not even sure there was chicken in there. The waffles were ok.

Overall I would never suggest the food. The ambience looks like it has potential.

I had roast beef poboy with fries and side of seafood gumbo. It was delicious. My only problem was no seafood in the gumbo. Poboy was on point! Nice hot fries as well!

The boudin egg rolls with the sweet and sour pepper jelly is chef’s kiss! Our first time staying in Slidell and we picked here to eat. Tiffany was cheerful, helpful, and checked on us several times. The food was as good as it sounded and looked on the menu. My husband got the beef and pork burger that was so big he had to cut it with a knife and so good he ate it all. We’ll be back for sure. All the stars!

We are from Texas and this is our first time here in Louisiana and the food we ordered definitely sat the bar high. Everything was packed with flavor even my kids kept complementing on how good their food was. Our server was very nice and did a wonderful job assisting us. We will definitely go back to this place whenever we passed Louisiana again.

Excellent New Orleans food, just outside of New Orleans. Char Grilled Oysters were amazing, just perfect. Our super friendly waitress, Stephanie, was super helpful with plenty of suggestions. I’m no expert, but they have the best Etouffée I have ever had. The Crab & Crab Bisque was also fantastic…I had a bit too much of my wife’s! There are plenty of more things to try…I wish we lived close by!
Do your tastebuds a favor!

The oyster was horrible. Some was over cooked, some was half cooked and very small. I gave them to my dogs. 2 dozen gone in my dogs belly .
My other half was trying to surprise me with the oyster but I was very disappointed. (SPECIAL OCCASION RUINED)

Well this place is sooooo quaint!
The waitress Sky was great. It was a rainy day and decided to go upstairs in the fresh air and watch the rain. Of course you have to climb the stairs, but that for us was no problem.
It gives you a feel that you’re in New Orleans but you’re not you’re only in Slidell.
Went there for happy hour and was more than happy !!!
Got a Abita Amber on draft and a light beer also.
Of course, if you were not familiar with Abita products you’re missing out.
And of course, did charred broiled oysters, as the season is almost coming to an end with the warmer weather moving in.
The beer was cold and served in a Pilsner glass .
The oysters were grilled to perfection. See the video….
Everything you expected, and more, the ambience is spot on definitely…
if you are in the area please stop in and try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Great place and atmosphere. The food was very delicious and well seasoned. The seafood platter I highly recommend since it has catfish, shrimp, oysters, crawfish, onion rings, and fries. The server, Cody, was polite and knowledgeable about the menu items. Overall, 4.5 out of 5 will recommend

Went here the other night, The service over all was average.
All the food was great, and their Jacked Up Fried Pickles were the perfect balance of flavor and salt.
A somewhat generic but still welcoming atmosphere, not bad but not stand out either.

Over all a good generic restaurant experience. Happy Hour pricing definitely makes success worth it for the amount of food too.
