Came in for the first time on a Sunday evening to have family dinner. The place was very busy so i recommend to make reservations. I came in at my reservation time and was sat immediately while other people without was told wait 20-45 min. Our server was fast and friendly and provided recommendations. The restaurant was kinda loud but still was able to talk.
The cocktails we had were delicious and strong. For appetizers we had the calamari tower which was light and very tasty. Kids had the cheeseburger and the tenders which both boys enjoyed.
I ordered the chimichurri steak with the loaded potato. Steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The loaded potato was also delicious.
My mom ordered the wagyu steak noodles which in the menu doesn’t say it , however it was very spicy for her. So we ended up switching.
Overall we enjoyed our time and I would be back as there was several plates we will like to try.

Good service + atmosphere, but I’m not here to eat the service… nor the atmosphere. The food was pretty decent but don’t think I’d be writing home about it anytime soon.
For $41.50, I thought the filet mignon would be sliding down my throat but after the 3rd bite + 67th chew I decided my dog would enjoy this more, so I saved it for him – he says 5 stars!! I – on the other hand – dug into my bf’s meal instead. The ribs – whilst not fall-off-the-bone – did fill the gap. The flavour was more sweet & tangy than dark & smoky, and could’ve been a little more tender.
I did enjoy the calamari until I was tired of it, and loved the sweet+sour sauce it came with. The Truffle Mac + Cheese was alright but not memorable, and the drinks hit the spot. Would I return? Possibly somewhere in the distant future.

Alex P!! Our server was beyond hospitable and attentive. I’ve been to this location a few times but today, I was lucky to have Alex PP as my server. He understood to give me space when I wanted to enjoy my cocktail and also checked up on me when dinning to make sure everything was to par. The professionalism was more than I expected. It is my birthday and this man made sure to not sound like it was another routine birthday on his shift, but a way to make it count. I appreciate the service, attentiveness and kindness he displayed. To him, I was another table, but to me, it was the one day out of the year that I wanted to receive good service. I ordered the buffalo chicken tender Cesar salad and a lychee martini. Both were super yummy! The strawberry tres leches and cappuccino were amazing too! Definitely will be returning to this location. Thank you for making my birthday feel like an extraordinary day.

Some friends and I came to Fort Lauderdale and went to check this place out. When we were seated we met our waitress Lauren who welcomed us to the city. She recommended the chips and guac as well as the calamari. That was the best calamari I have ever had. The food was amazing, the drinks phenomenal, and the atmosphere was outstanding. So much so we had to go a second time because the food was so good. Definitely check this place out!!!

The spinach and artichoke dip—paired with the crisp, well-seasoned chips—was a delightful start to our meal, and the grilled chicken breast was cooked beautifully. However, the entrées themselves fell a bit short. We ordered the smash burger and the California chopped chicken bowl; while the chicken in the bowl was excellent, the overall dishes didn’t quite meet our expectations.
What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service. Michelle, the general manager, was **outstanding**—genuinely receptive to our feedback and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we felt heard and accommodated.

The food was really good. I ordered the drunken burger. Which was a combination of lamb and beef. I ordered it with Cajun fries and got it medium rare. This was the best burger I’ve ever ordered in Florida, hands down!!! Our server Zack was friendly and offered great service! I’ll definitely come back here again. I’ll recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give them more stars.

When it finally came out, it was good. My friend ordered the Drunken Goat and really enjoyed it, while I had the Crispy Chicken Tender Melt, which was okay but nothing standout.
What I really loved were the drinks—both the virgin and alcoholic lychee martinis were excellent and definitely a highlight of the night. Prices were reasonable for the quality and setting, and the overall vibe was enjoyable.
I’d say Tap 42 is worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for good drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a great experience at Tap 42, and a big part of that was our server, AJ. He did an excellent job taking care of my family and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the meal.
The service was definitely a highlight of our visit. AJ stayed on top of everything and made sure we had what we needed without ever feeling rushed. It really elevated the whole brunch experience.
If you’re coming for Sunday brunch, definitely ask for AJ. He’ll take great care of you!
