My server Jocelyn was amazing. From being sat by Alysa to served by Jocelyn my experience was 10/10. Someone who seemed close with my sever, Keira, brought me parmesan which was the tastiest cheese I’ve ever had. Great group of girls. Food was so good I got one togo.

I finally talked my wife into trying Mellow Mushroom again. The server finally greeted us in sweat pants and slippers. The food was incredibly underwhelming and took quite some time even though the place was empty.. I don’t think we’ll be back as she dislikes brown wilted lettuce and cold chicken wings..

I don’t get to eat this pizza much, it has not gone north yet, being a gluten free vegan I was actually able to order a pizza like a normal person!!! Taste is amazing and I get so excited when I get to go. Name is perfect!!! Took my mother in law she love it and when we came down the following year she was so excited to go back too

Great atmosphere in the bar area. Only place we’ve ever sat. We visited 3 times in 5 days and hadn’t been to a Mellow Mushroom in over 20 years. Great acoustics for games on the tv. Ryan was our night bar tender/server for our group of 4. Very informative and great suggestions for the beers available. Lainey was our daytime, at the bar, lunch bartender. Thanks for recommending the honey Sriracha tenders…amazing! The thin crust pizza is also fabulous and warms over well. I don’t recommend the Italian sub. More vegetables on it than meat…one piece each and a small bag of salt vinegar chips. Told our server that night and he was helpful.

Loved this place. Hard to find decent pizza in the area. This place understood the assignment.

Several multi-ingredient choices or make your own. We could see the pizza maker tossing our dough in the air right from our table. Hot and fresh with amazingly fresh tasting toppings.

We will most certainly be back.

One of the not so great MMs I’ve been too. Pizza was a little burnt and greasy and ordered Bruschetta for the appetizer but it never came out. Said they needed to make the sauce. Also asked for silverware and get plastic when everyone gets silverware. Asked for the Manager Cory and all he had was excuses and no action. Will not be back to this location

Our Daughter and her family were visiting from out of town and were looking forward to going to Mellow Mushroom. I try to be as objective as I can be, even after reviewing others experiences, but our experience merely confirmed what several other reviewers have experienced. We arrived as a party of 10 and were seated immediately, we were asked for our drink order and I was the only one that ordered a draft beer. At the time we were seated which was about 5:45 pm on a Friday there were only 2 other tables occupied. We spent some time reviewing the menus and it was about 10-15 minutes before my drink was delivered. The waitress asked if we needed a few more minutes to order and we said we did. after being there for another 30 minutes we had to track down the waitress and tell her we were ready to order. We ordered out food, no appetizers, and then waited another half hour to get one order which was a cheeseburger for one of the kids, but it did not have the cheese. We did not get any more of our for another 10 minutes when the remainder of the orders started to arrive which did not include the extra order of ranch (extra charge) that was ordered and we had to ask for it 3 times before it was delivered. The ‘Holy Shiitake” pizza’s we ordered were delivered luke warm and very greasy. Overall service was slow and mediocre at best. I left with my grandson before the bills were delivered which took a long time to come as well. My wife stayed with the rest of the family and paid for her and myself and our daughter paid for their family and friend. When we arrived home together I reviewed the receipt and was shocked. Since it was a party of 10 they added a mandatory 20% gratuity added. We did not see this listed anywhere on the menu nor was this explained when we were seated. We have been to MANY restaurants in the North Myrtle Beach area with large parties and have not had this requirement. What is the worst, and something I feel is taking advantage of people is when the gratuity is added to the total bill inclusive of taxes. Since when are we required to pay a tip on taxes? And, where did 20% come from, isn’t the normal group gratuity 18%? Finally, a gratuity is based on food quality and services provided which this experience would not deserve a 18% gratuity let alone a 20% level. When I saw this I immediately called the restaurant and left a message for a return call from the manager which mid next day has still not occurred. I would strongly suggest that should you decide to visit this franchised location of Mellow Mushroom be aware of the potential issues you may experience.

We had ordered 4 pizzas, one was a Caesar pizza, which is a white pizza and then topped with Caesar salad. Unfortunately when we got the pizza home the salad was on top of the pizza already and looks like the salad was cooked on top. That is not how the pizza should be served, as well as the dressing looked curdled. We called the restaurant to question and asked to speak to a manager, we were on hold for 15-20 minutes and were told the managers were not available and they would call back. We have yet to get a call back. Very disappointed in the service and quality of the pizza.

Ordered a pizza online which was going to take a hour. NBD as it was a Friday night so we knew to expect a wait. Went at the designated time and was told it would be another 15 minutes. Once I got home with the food, the 2 “large” Caesar salads had already been dressed and were soggy from sitting so long. And they were more like a side salad – so at $10 each seemed overpriced. And not worth eating soggy lettuce. One of the pizzas was missing the basil on top. Overall an unpleasant experience (and unfortunately not our first so our mistake for not learning our lesson) so as much as we like MM, we will find another place for pizza. The ONLY saving grace was the very friendly but extremely BUSY bartender who was working her butt off (as she was tending bar alone) as we waited the extra 15 minutes. I do not recommend this particular restaurant as the kitchen staff clearly doesn’t care about the integrity of the food they make.

We had a pretty good experience here at Mellow Mushroom. The atmosphere was amazing, and the fish tank was so unique. Our server Leah did a great job taking care of us and handling the rush that was flowing in.
We asked her for suggestions and she recommended we try the pretzel bites & beer cheese. Great recommendation, they tasted amazing. I also really recommend the Funky Q Pizza
