Weekday afternoon lunch with my son. It was slow but the service was great. Very attentive and food was excellent. I had a spicy burger with Cajun spices. Fries were hot and delicious. My son had a burger as well and was very happy. We had a great time with the others sitting there. Definitely recommend and we will return. I had not been here in over 10 years. It was nice to see it again!

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Maybe it was just a bad day, but we met friends there for breakfast who had already ordered. We sat down and looked at the menu. The waitress never came by to ask us if we wanted drinks or to take our order. Our friends had been there for a half hour by this point, and another table was getting served, one meal at a time. It looked like the cook could only make a meal or two at once. After 10 minutes, we left our friends there to go someplace else. The waitress never acknowledged us, or asked us if there was a problem. We walked 10 minutes to Blinkers Tavern, were seated, order taken, and had our food served at roughly the same time as our friends at Old Town, who had been there for over an hour. Old town has great reviews online, but we had terrible service, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

This very cute little family restaurant is amazing! My son and I ate here for lunch and it was very good. The menu has so much to choose from. I got the double trouble and it was delicious . My son got the hamburger and he raved about it. If you have not tried this place yet, then I highly recommend you do. You will not be disappointed!

A classic diner with a literal mom and pop crew. Some of the best burgers in town for less than five bucks. It’s the kind of place where you can make a donation to the local kids little league team, get an update on the city council gossip, and a great meal all at the same time. Decent chance they’ll remember your name and ask about your family the second time you come in. When I retire, I plan on spending my afternoons sitting at the counter of a place a lot like this.

My husband and I came here for breakfast as out of towners. We are used to our home diner that is very friendly and welcoming. This was exactly that and we appreciated the quick service, welcoming feeling, and delicious food. I am quick to judge a place based on their breakfast- I will be coming back here anytime we are in town!! Love love love!!!

A decent breakfast place around Covington within walking distance from the hotel, which was perfect since we were visiting from out of town. One of those neighborhood staples that consists of regulars where everyone knows each other and sits down over breakfast to catch up. The place doesn’t advertise itself as anything exquisite, just a breakfast joint meant to get you through the morning.
The menu is straight forward and consists of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and breakfast. There’s even a “Weight Watchers” category on the menu. The prices are cheap. I think the priciest menu item was $9. I got the fruit bowl ($4.50), which was nice and refreshing. Then I ordered some kind of sandwich / burger called the Frankenburger which consists of like every meat. I’m not sure why, but this had no taste at all. I ate it because I was hungry and needed to survive the upcoming wedding festivities that we were in town for, not because I enjoyed it.
I did enjoy our service. The waitress was friendly, worked fast, and was funny.

If you like the nostalgic feel of a diner you’ll love this place; right down to the clinking of the china plates.
I had the cod sandwich on rye which was a good pre-portioned fish sandwich. It came with slaw which, to my taste, lacked flavor, though the cabbage was very crisp, it was obviously made fresh.
Everything, including the men’s room was very clean and the staff was amazingly friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
