First time here in Arizona visiting from California and OMG the pizza is absolutely AMAZING!!! The ingredients is fresh and the pizza is very flavorful and HUGE. We got the 16 inch and yeah it can easily feed 6 to 8 people. This pizza is done perfectly and the crust is so good it makes you wanna eat the pizza from the back. They definitely don’t skimp on the toppings and cheese for sure. I will definitely be coming back for more. I have a 3 star because some of the booths seats are long overdue for reupholstering and the black tape job is not a good look for a place with pizza this good. Building is kinda old looking and could use a freshen up but that’s about it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you want some darn good pizza I’d definitely say come check this place out you won’t be disappointed.

Pizza was absolutely excellent. Best Philly cheese steak pizza I have ever had, and staff who are no-nonsense but definitely quality-oriented. We had a 32 inch pizza (cuz you GOTTA) and it only took about 15 minutes to arrive at our table. Would 100% return!

Some time back my lady, myself, and our son stopped in late to get some pizza and we were All very impressed. Our son, (so impressed by the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza that we all chose to try for our first time Also trying Gus’s for the first time then), began to Cry across from me at the table. I asked him what’s up, and he said the CBR pizza was so good that it moved tears out of him. Not verbatim lol
Absolutely Highly recommend Gus’s, great location, awesome fries, excellent ranch
I had by the slice this time for my visit on New Year’s Eve, Chad is the awesome and hella chill fella that was there awhile back and again there tonight
A shorter fella with dark hair was Rockin the front setup and another guy in the back for that setup, bald guy answerin and helpin, older dude runnin delivery orders Amazing efforts from you all, Thank You
P.S. Chad, reminds me of Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters Only, Chad seems way cooler Forsure

Gus’s New York Pizza was a fantastic place to have lunch with coworkers. Gus’s New York Pizza offered great service for all three of my colleagues, we all ordered separately and the food all came out at the same time with napkins. fountain drinks and clean restrooms. great photos of New York City. highly recommend Gus’s New York Pizza to anyone in the Tempe Town L yeah ake area. next time I’m going to try the extra extra large pizza I seen trying to leave out the front door.

I gave the food 3 stars, only because the ingredients seemed fresh, not because it was that great. Haven’t been here in a couple years, was really anticipating the Italian sandwich I remember, gearing my son up for how good it was supposed to be. Waited for the only guy at the counter to get off the phone, then I ask if I could get a 2 liter of soda that I saw someone picking up with his pizza, but the dude counters with, ” we usually only sell those with pickup orders”. So I said, “should I call you to order then?”. Then he went ahead and granted me the 2 liter and took our order for the two Italians. $4.75 for the soda (a bargain compared to two fountain drinks), and $10.99 each for the sandwiches, which are advertised as having, Genoa salami, ham, capicola, pepperoni and provolone. Not sure which of the four meats are missing, as there’s hardly any on it at all anyway. Super disappointed, will NOT be back. Will opt for Cheba Hut down the street next time. An experience like this really ruins any enjoyment of eating. It’s insulting how little you get for your money, unless you enjoy paying $11 for a salad sandwich.

The food is good but what separates this place from others is the staff. Everyone there works hard and is courteous. They had my pizzas and salads for 25 people ready within 25 minutes. Shout out to Damian at the front counter for his help and courtesy. The restaurant that I had planned to eat at nearby for my son’s graduation did not open today like they said they would. Called Gus’s Pizza and they saved the day. I will be going back again and telling everyone about my experience.

I absolutely love this place. Serving up the best hand tossed pies in the east valley… And the best part? I can walk in and grab a pie any time of the day and they give it to me with a smile at 4am. Will definitely be a regular here.

Straight to the point. Great food, amazing flavors. Horrible service, the person who took our order was rude, the person who delivered it was just as rude. First words to me when I opened the door were you owe me 43 and change. Very tasteful. And they also forgot an item for our order and when we called to ask for it be brought to us since we paid cash for it they declined stating we can order it and they will credit to my phone number and pick it up another time. Super! Overall good food like credit where credit is due but tbh yall staff are 0/5 stars. I thought it was maybe a location thing but looking at the reviews for other locations it is the same exact problem. Unfortunately no returning business from me and I hope everyone sees this warning.
