It started off so good but one thing in our food we found made the experience a little bad. Let me start off this place was awesome to begin with the server Bryan was very attentive. He came for our orders and brought us drinks real fast. The food came out in less than 10 minutes for a table of six people three kids and three adult adults. The food was delicious. The waiter actually came back many times to check on us. The location is great and has plenty of parking. It looks like an old Burger King. The problem arose that we found a piece of the porcelain from the plate in my kids rice. The wife found it when she went to bite down and she felt it in her mouth. I felt that it was very dangerous. We told the waiter and he just brought out a new one. Ironically, the new plate also look like it had chips in it so the rest of the night while we were chewing it was very worrisome. Maybe it was a one off thing that may never happen again, but our kid could’ve eaten it. For service for Brian I would give him a five out of five, but I don’t know where to categorize the experience we had. I don’t know if they could be more careful with the plates. The place has a bathroom and his handicap accessible. Now if you’ve ever been to North Conway the places set up exactly like fiesta Jalisco, but I asked them and they said that they are not related in anyway. So for fast food and great tasting food, I would check out this place just the porcelain in the food from the plate. Got us a little turned off. The prices were reasonable for three adults three kids with drinks and everything. It was 90 something dollars then with tip it was 120. We were still charged for the kids plate with the porcelain in it, but they did replace it.

Ordered a steak burrito bowl
Came super quick and was in a plate not a bowl!
Was enthusiastic when I saw how large it was only to take my first bite of cold stale dry steak! In their defense, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I didn’t complain because I never send food back at restaurants. But she saw what was wrong. My boyfriend ordered a steak and his came cooked fresh so I don’t know what happened. I also ordered a strawberry daiquiri that tasted like medicine. My boyfriend ordered a mojito that was delicious! I don’t know what’s going on here. Approach with caution! Seems like ordering here is like a lottery, you don’t know what you will get.

A true Down East wonder . We stopped in this Sunday afternoon around 4 pm, and was treated to a wonderful experience… Big plus..peanut-free!! The hosting and wait staff are top notch.. the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, staff is attentive and the food was wonderful; more than reasonably priced, especially nice, given the overall-overpriced nature of eating establishments in this tourist-oriented town.. the chips are served warm, fresh and tasty, accompanied by a salsa that was accented by fresh cilantro and some exotic seasonings as well. My wife had the two-taco platter.. fresh, crispy hard-shell type (soft shell are offered as well), with ample amount of bite-sized, seasoned grilled steak strips that were tender and moist, along with the usual combo of taco “stuffing” accoutrements, and a hearty serving of their refried beans and seasoned rice. I had the sampler platter that included the best chile relleno ever (not soggy or chewy), beef taco, enchilada, and pork tamale, along with their rice and beans.. $19.99, and so big it comes on two platters . All this and a draft beer brought the tab for this feast to a little over 50 bucks, including tax!!!! Oh, and the cleanest restrooms around! We will be back!

Best Mexican restaraunt around, by a long shot. Fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced. My friends and I like to dine in quite frequently, and we have never had a bad experience. I have been here at least 40 times. The margarita towers and pitchers never fail to please the crowd. Even take out is plated very neatly and is always done very quickly. 10/10. If you are in town, you will not regret stopping here. Try the quesabirria, it does not disappoint!

I can’t thing of one bad thing about Casa Jalisco. I brought a friend for lunch and it was our first time having lunch at CJ’s and it did NOT disappoint!
We were sat quickly. The waitress was attentive and brought chips and salsa to snack on which was SO nice. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. At this time she took our drink order; those arrived promptly.
Our food also arrived very quickly and it was excellent. No complaints from either of us. We are picky retired chefs, too 🙂
The two of us had lunch for around 75.00. We will be back. What a nice addition to Ellsworth!

Incredible!! Very fast service and everyone is extremely nice! Our entire experience was stellar. Our food was phenomenal and our waiter was excellent. We also were shocked when we got our bill and it was so much lower than we expected from such an amazing dining experience. We will be back again and again and again! We planned our next visit during dessert

This place is amazing!! Not only is the food delicious and the service very friendly, but it is meticulously cleaned every evening from the decorative shelving to picture frames, windows and kitchen. I took pictures as proof and in the video you can hear someone pressure washing the kitchen! I’ve worked at nice restaurants and their nightly cleaning wasn’t as thorough as this

Great food. First Mexican place that hasn’t disappointed us in Maine. Lots of choices (maybe even too many) if that’s even a thing. Recommend the quesabirria. Messy but cheesy and so full of flavor.
Definitely don’t tell them it’s your birthday though! Maybe I’m just a party pooper but the celebration is a bit obnoxious and pushy. Although, it’s the perfect choice if you want to embarrass the birthday person.
