Vault Brewing Company, a popular Bucks County craft brewery originally founded in Yardley, recently expanded with a second location on Ferry Street in downtown Easton. The brewpub is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday until 11:00 PM, and Sunday until 9:00 PM.

My friend and I stopped in for the first time early Thursday evening. The space has a relaxed, modern vibe, and aside from a few people at the bar, we had the place to ourselves.

We started with the wings, which are beer-brined for 24 hours. Hot and tender, coated in a tasty BBQ sauce, they were enjoyable, but could have used a bit more crisp.

Next were the chicken nachos, made with corn tortilla chips topped with beer cheese fondue, chipotle aioli, mango pico de gallo, hibiscus pickled onion, and micro cilantro. The ingredients were fresh, well-proportioned, and evenly distributed. This is exactly how nachos should be done.

For my main, I went with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, crispy chicken topped with hot honey, buttermilk ranch, and dill pickles.

My friend went with the Vault Burger, cooked to a perfect medium and topped with caramelized onions, Vault sauce, dill pickles, cooper sharp, lettuce, and tomato.

All handhelds come with a salad, but we upgraded to fries, which arrived fresh out the fryer.

Everything we tried was solid, the service was on point, and there are plenty of dishes I still want to try. I’ll be back.

I arrived with genuine anticipation, buoyed by the restaurant’s glowing reviews and strong local reputation. Unfortunately, the experience that followed never rose to meet those expectations.
While we were seated promptly, the initial efficiency quickly gave way to a puzzling lapse in service. For 25 minutes, no member of the staff acknowledged our table, not to offer water, explain the delay, or even make eye contact. Eventually, we relocated ourselves to the bar without notifying anyone, a move that went entirely unnoticed. For a dining room of this acclaim, the absence of basic attentiveness was striking.
At the bar, the welcome proved equally tepid. The bartender appeared disengaged, projecting the sense that hospitality was an obligation rather than a craft. The IPAs I sampled lacked character and depth, presenting as flat and forgettable in a market where thoughtful curation and freshness should be standard.
One bright note emerged in the Brussels sprouts, which were well-prepared and confidently seasoned, a dish that hinted at the kitchen’s potential. Yet a single success could not offset the broader impression of disorganization and indifference.
In the end, what should have been a promising evening felt instead like a poorly orchestrated operation resting on a reputation it did not earn that night. I left disappointed, still wondering how such high praise aligns with such an uneven experience.

We decided to stop in for a casual dinner on a weekday night. We were seated right away, in the little dining area they have next to the bar. Our server could not have been any nicer. We had fantastic service and all the food we had was very good. We opted to just do appetizers and dessert, no meals or no drinks. So I can’t vouch for any of that stuff. All the apps and desserts were fantastic! They’ve got some really interesting choices on their menu that are great. Pro tip: try the crab Rangoon dip! Unfortunately, it felt like the air-conditioning was on, and it was quite chilly outside so we were cold the whole time we were there. And the bar area does get loud even if you’re in the other room. Other than that, we really enjoyed our time here and definitely plan to return.

Sat for dinner on a Thursday night around 6pm. Parking is difficult, street parking or lots/garages several blocks away. Ended up a block and half away in a newly vacated spot. Right place, right time. Still a hike for mobility challenged.

It was Easton restaurant week, so went with the special menu, starting with Brie Quesadilla with brown sugar pecan praline. This was excellent, but a large portion considering dinner entree and dessert were also included. Took half home.

Up next, the entree, pistachio crusted salmon with whole grain mustard spatzle, roasted romanesco, and pomegranate in a beer butter reduction. The flavors were great, unfortunately the salmon was a little over. Otherwise this would have been an excellent dish.

For dessert, pretzel bread pudding with a stout caramel sauce. This was tasty and the stout caramel sauce was outstanding. It was dense and too much to finish after the salmon, so took half home. The waiter was nice enough to accommodate sending a bit more sauce home with me too.

Had two flights of 4 beers each, sampling from a wide variety of styles. IPAs, hazy IPAs, lagers, pilsners, Czech dark, mild dark, and stouts. All were good to great with the IPAs being the best of the bunch.

We had nice quick lunch here. The vibe is casual and friendly, and when we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, there were families enjoying lunch. The menu is rather limited; I don’t know if that was because of the time of year (winter), or that’s their usual setup. The food was good, and the waitstaff was upbeat, friendly, and very responsive. The cocktail I had, which appeared to be a special, was also excellent. Overall, we would stop here again.

Went here mid Sunday afternoon – wasn’t too busy when we arrived (2 other tables had customers) but started filling up a little more after we got there. Loved the Public Offering! Not too hoppy, just enough citrusy and refreshingly cool!
The appetizers we ordered to share among 4 of us was done so well! Calamari was lightly dressed with unique cilantro dressing with kumquat and radish (delicious combination). Thai brussel sprouts was also uniquely done with a satay sauce and pickled veggies! Even the ordinary sounding fall salad wasn’t too heavy with the pumpkin and light sage vinaigrette. The bolognese cavatelli was delicious! We also ordered fish and chips and that was done almost British style with the fried in ‘paper’ cone and fish lightly battered and freshly hot! We’ll definitely be back!

I use to live in Pa but I was visiting the area to meet up with friends. It’s been awhile since 2006 since I’ve been in the Easton area.,.. everything has changed but for better.
I always like to take pictures of the food. Being a photographer, food photography has always been my favorite so I took a few pictures. Love the food. It was good and the staff is super friendly

The Vault was a great stop for a nice brew. We didn’t try the food, but everything we saw being served around us looked delicious. We ordered the Butterfly Spread and Teller Piles—both were excellent! Service was quick and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean (though note they only have one). The inside has a modern, inviting feel. Overall, we’d definitely return!

Outstanding food, every item we ordered (we had a party of six) was amazing. We were all very impressed both with the quality, and presentation of everything. The menu says all items are made in house, and you can tell, very good food.
We ordered multiple flights, and truly enjoyed all of the beers.
Best craft brewery we have ever been to. 100% recommended for everyone.

I always enjoy stopping here when I am in Downtown Easton. I’ve enjoyed every beer I’ve tried at Vault and they have a nice selection to choose from. And they have plenty of beer to go. The food is always fresh and portions are perfect. They’re always rotating their menu and have Weekend Special Offerings so there is always something new to enjoy. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Live music on the weekends is always great and never loud enough that you have to yell across the table to have a conversation. All in all, Vault Easton is a great place!
