Ordered the cilantro garlic chicken sandwich combo cause the description sounded good and looked like a good piece of chicken on the menu picture. After I got home 10 minutes later, I opened it up and couldn’t even see the chicken until I took the buns apart and the lettuce off. The palm of my hand is one and a half times the size of this piece of chicken and there was barely any cilantro garlic sauce on it not to mention it was literally cold like it came out of the fridge. Definitely not what the picture shows or what the description states. For a chicken place, this chicken sandwich is really sad. I don’t recommend spending your money on this, especially for eleven dollars for the combo.

I stopped by the Pollo Tropical drive-thru today and ordered two 1/4 chicken plates with rice and beans. Unfortunately, both quarter pieces were completely burned and impossible to eat. The chicken was so overcooked that it was dry, hard, and tasted terrible. I basically wasted my money on food that went straight into the trash.
This is not good quality, and it feels dishonest to serve food in that condition. I live far from this location, so going back to fix the issue is not easy for me. I bought this meal for my kids, and now I have to find something else to give them because what I was served was inedible.
Very disappointed with the quality and service. This should never have left the kitchen like that.

I visited this location and stood at the register for about 3 minutes without being acknowledged. Eventually, a woman wearing a red shirt and earpiece took my order. I ordered a #7 half chicken (all dark meat), yellow rice, no beans, and a cup of water.
When I received my tray, it had two yellow rice sides and beans, and I noticed I was charged an additional $0.75. I politely explained that I did not order extra rice and did not want beans. Since the employee taking my order appeared tired and overwhelmed, I tried to be understanding and simply asked them to remove the extra items and change my water to iced tea instead.
At that point, the woman in the red shirt approached and told me not to tell her workers what to do. The interaction became unnecessarily tense. I decided to just correct the order and request the $0.75 refund. She stated the entire order had to be refunded and replaced, took my receipt in an unpleasant manner, and processed it while visibly upset.
This situation could have been handled calmly and professionally. I was respectful throughout the interaction and simply wanted my order corrected. Customer service and tone matter just as much as the food.

The past two times I’ve visited this location, I’ve had a disappointing experience. During my first visit, my order was incorrect, but I didn’t realize it until I got home, so I didn’t report it at the time.
When I returned on my next visit and ordered the same item, the order was incorrect again. I went through the drive-thru to have the mistake corrected, but the employee assisting me was very rude and made me feel as though the error was my fault. It felt like I was being treated as difficult simply for asking them to fix a mistake with my order.
I hope management can address this issue so future customers have a better experience.
Update: I just got home and the order is still wrong. I asked for extra crispy chicken and got extra grilled.

The food is always amazing but I can truly say my service was the best at this location because of Fabio! Fabio shows up to work with a wonderful smile and goes the extra mile to stop what he’s doing and serve you according. I will definitely come back to this location just because I eat well and also see the most joyful spirit.

A mixture of Spanish culture foods in a combination of American and Hispanic staff. Overall makes this place a wonderland. Giving you the freedom to speak bilingual if you choose. Trust me when I tell you they’ll get your order right but make sure you speak out loud so the pronunciations of your words do not get mixed with arroz con pollo
