I am writing this because i felt it very disappointing to show such disrespect to customers.
Last night at around 8:58pm i have ordered 2 chicken dum biriyanis, not knowing that store closes at 9:00pm. And the order has to be delivered to McKinney. It is delivered by store employees, so i couldn’t track on uber eats app. I tried calling but no one answered, since it is past 9pm. I wasn’t sure if my order is accepted, so i ordered from a different place and had my dinner.
This order reached around 12am , 2 hours after placing order. And i only checked it in the morning after seeing notification from uber.
I had my dinner ordering from a different restaurant, and requested refund from uber eats from Taste of India. I am all good from my side.
The quantity is half in both the biriyanis and there are no chicken pieces in it.
I am writing this because i felt it very disappointing to show such disrespect to customers.

These people who run this place are so amazing. Food, service, and hospitality is 11/10. My husband and I love coming here and enjoying the amazing food and calm atmosphere. The owner was so kind as to put some TV on for us when I requested, and the head chef is AMAZING! He checks up on us everytime we dine in, its truly an honor. We love you guys, Taste of India!

Adhi, our server was awesome. The food also was awesome. The beef vindaloo is among the best vindaloo that I’ve ever had. The lamb masala was divine as well. Very unique flavor. We live in Northeast Dallas, but whenever we are rolling through this area, we try to stop in, and, will continue to do so….

Amazing north Indian cuisine, I came in with low expectations and was blown away.
Naan was perfectly cooked, the chicken was fantastic and the thalis were authentic.
Definately going back.

Read all the negative one star reviews, and honestly wouldn’t pay them any mind. I’m very selective of where I leave all the 5 star reviews, but this one is deserving. My family has been coming here for years, since I was in middle school and I’m now an adult with my own family. The owners have been the same, always comes out to see how everything is and check on us. Beyond that, the food has always been incredible. My husband had never had Indian food and now anytime we are in the area we try to stop by for dinner, as it’s become a favorite between us. The lamb wrap is absolutely delicious. I will say yes prices have gone up in the few years but nothing crazy, I’ve seen worse and paid more for not so good food. We typically get the platters/feast they have, I get the non vegetarian platter, has a good variety of all my favorite dishes, like chicken tikka, samosa, etc.
They used to have a buffet, but closed it down due to covid a few years back. The owner mentioned they’re trying to bring it back, but when they had in the past it didn’t go well (food wasted etc) which is understandable. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great Indian food.

Food tastes good for the price. My fav dish is their butter chicken. Naans are also great. Other dishes we ordered: lamb curry, lamb biryani, meat naan , garlic naan. Atmosphere is quiet.
