Favorite Diner in the area! I come at least every other month! Their French toast are amazing– perfect balance between sweet and salty; and huge portions! Staff is very attentive and sweet. It’s a very family oriented spot, with lots of buzz and families coming for breakfast on weekend mornings. Their iced coffee could be better, but everything else on their breakfast menu is SOLID.
For my vegan folks– this place is unfortunately not vegan friendly. For my vegetarian folks– you have plenty of options in their breakfast menu. A lot more limitations for lunch menu.
Overall, Great prices for everything. Definetly my go-to diner I take out of town folks.

Our server Alyssa was SO good. I couldn’t say enough good things about her. And my pancakes were absolutely out of this world. I already destroyed them in the pic but the pancakes and my friends’ meals came decoratively plated. A little pricey but not bad. 0 complaints 10/10

We had a fantastic experience at The Daily Planet on 1/31/2026, and it was the perfect place to take my mother out to celebrate her getting a new (to her) car. From start to finish, everything was wonderful.
Our server, Josie-Grac, truly made the visit special. She was awesome—friendly, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, and that kind of service makes a big difference.
The food was excellent and tasted incredibly fresh. My mother had the poached eggs with corned beef hash, which she absolutely loved. My wife and I ordered the blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs, and everything came out hot, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pancakes were especially delicious—soft, fresh, and packed with blueberries.
Between the great food, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, this was a memorable meal and a great way to celebrate a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back, and we hope to be served by Josie-Grac again!

Nice diner with lots of baked goods, that we unfortunately didnt get to try. A little more expensive than I would have thought for a diner, portion size was normal. Food was good and served remarkably fast, waitress was friendly. Would go back if in the area again.

It’s one of the best diners in the area, been coming here for years. This was breakfast after coming home from a recent cruise. Service is always incredible, great looking, and great tasting food. The atmosphere is very bright and welcoming. We tried 2 of the mimosas from their flite menu. One was missing the cherries that it showed on the menu, but otherwise, they tasted okay
