Crispy Chicken is amazing. Moved from Charleston in 2015 and we kept looking for a new restaurant that could make Crispy Chicken the same as Main Kwong. Returned to Charleston after ten years and got Crispy Chicken and it was as great as ot used to be.

This place has really gone downhill since I’ve been here last. Which was about two years ago, maybe more. I normally ordered the general tso chicken or crispy chicken. I really wanted some thicker noodles instead of rice, so ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special. Was a total waste of money. There was maybe 4 little chunks of chicken and the lo mein noodles looked basically like cheap ramen and were about the same quality. They only filled half the container with it then filled the rest with really dry fried rice. I guess I was expecting a whole bowl of lo mein, and really confused why they’d put that on top of rice. It was just a gross combination. But maybe others like it like that and I misunderstood. All of it lacked any real flavor too. I had to put a ton of duck sauce and soy sauce on it to get any flavor out of it and that’s not even the right sauce to go with it so it was gross. The egg roll didn’t have much flavor to it other than a bit sour. But not good sour, more like rotten cabbage sour. I don’t drive and rarely get over to that part of Charleston anymore, but when I do I know I won’t be trying here again. It feels like going out anywhere anymore you pay double what you used to but barely get anything that is decent quality. I think frozen quick meals come out better and cheaper than this would have. But I wish I’d have just bought udon noodles and some type of sauce at Kroger and heated it up. Would have cost only about 8$ for two meals that way.

Food is great. Some things could be better. It’s decent. But why when you do a pick up order there’s no napkins or silverware in the bag? Common curtesy to do that. The man says on the phone “oh some people take it home” everyone isn’t going home!!! Worst reply as a business provider you could say. Do better!!!!!&

The General Tso’s chicken is hands down the best I’ve had in West Virginia! It’s perfectly crispy chicken, and it stays crispy after the sauce cools too. You cannot beat this place.

Always good food and good service. Food prepared greasy and fast. Currently it’s pick up only. Food is fresh and hot. They have the famous signature dish called Crispy Chicken, you can never go wrong with that! Cans of ice cold soda are only 1$ and again the staff are friendly. I would suggest to go online for the menu, or view my photo. There is NO indoor dining. *Edit: There is now indoor dining (not the cleanest). Recently had the egg rolls and oh my are they delicious. The crispy chicken, is sweet and addictive. Some might say it’s q little spicy, but I can’t tell. Had the dumplings and wow! Again just fabulous. The crab rangoons are good as well both crispy and creamy. I posted the lunch specials in photos. Really good deal!

Food has ALWAYS been amazing! Today though was beyond special! I am in a wheelchair and while having my car serviced across the street, my husband and I decided to get lunch. Although their dining room has 2 steps, they wrangled with their other door to get it unlocked so I was able to eat. No wonder this is the only Chinese I eat in Charleston! They went way up and beyond for me and it was heartfelt appreciated!!

I ordered the chicken and the mixed vegetables over the phone. I was told that it would take about 15 minutes. When I showed up after 15 minutes, the order was ready. The food is hot. The dish is delicious, the level of salt and sweetness is about right. The service is friendly and prompt. The portion is generous.

The whole experience with this restaurant was terrible, but the worst part was that we found a hair in my mother’s food. When I called to place my order, they left me on hold for almost 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and they were able to take my order right away, meaning they just straight up forgot about us and left us on hold. Halfway through our meal we found a hair in my mom’s dish that could not have been either of ours. Then when I called them to inform them, they left us on hold for an extended period of time AGAIN, they did not apologize for the incident, but said we can bring it back for another dish or a refund. I certainly won’t be eating here ever again. Terrible service and hair in the food…no thank you.
