This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. My family and I try to visit everytime we go back home. Warm, inviting atmosphere, delicious food/drinks, and excellent service. Our toddler was given adorable stickers, and our baby was given a VIB (Very Important Baby) bib. Such a cute, personal touch. We love the outside as well with the fires and the kids play area.

Nice, small, and wonderful place to eat. Amazing raspberry lemonade. The service was extremely friendly, almost as if you’re family. Food portions were on point (love the fries), and really great overall environment. Thank you! We will visit again.

Went here Feb 12th to celebrate my friend’s birthday. My first visit, she’d been there before. We got there at 4:30 before the dinner rush.
One star for atmosphere. We sat in the fireplace room and it was charming. Loved the smell of the burning wood and cozy feeling.
One star for our rockstar Server. I can’t remember her name but she was around 20, dark hair and a great smile. She was attentive, sweet and helpful.
One star for the great sides:
The salad was fresh and nicely topped
The baked potato was good
The fresh beans and carrots were crispy and nicely seasoned.
But unfortunately we both ordered Prime Rib and it was overcooked and flavorless. Literally no flavor.
I ordered mine Medium Rare and I was served a piece with no pink. I could have sent it back, but I’m okay with medium if I have to. Didn’t want to waste a piece so I settled. Our server did come and ask how things were and I could have sent it back. And I would have if I’d known it was flavorless.
So while the meat was tender, it was literally void of flavor. For both of us.
Such a let down when my friend told me they are known for their prime.
While the overall visit was nice, it’s a letdown to pay over $100 for two unsatisfactory main entrees (no alcohol).
I always tip well and I still did, not the servers fault the meat was not great. She did her job and did it well.
Likely I will go back, but I’ll not order the Prime again.

Gluten free cauliflower crust Ruben Pizza had a well balanced flavor. The sauerkraut didn’t overpower the pizza. Highly recommend. Double Cajun pork chop dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and veggies was great too. Chops slightly overcooked but still excellent. Cajun seasoning on the chop was amazing! We visited on a Saturday evening around 5p in the summer and had approximately a 1hr wait for patio seating. It was okay because the setting was fun and great people watching. Gluten friendly options are not marked on the menu. They do offer gluten free bun for additional $3 and Cauliflower Crust.

This is a must go to about 30 minutes west of the city. Great pizza and huge nachos and small town feel was cozy and fun. Julie our server was a 5 star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️she was awesome and brought a brownie ice cream dish for my husband’s bday! Will go back, super fun. Looks like in the summer they have a great outdoor space!

River In never disappoints! Our first time for breakfast…but won’t be our last! Food is reasonably priced. We added a couple of extra side dishes so our bill was higher than necessary. Left very full, satisfied and with leftovers. Had some of best biscuits and gravy. Biscuits so fluffy and plenty of gravy too.
Waitress was very attentive and super friendly. Breakfast spots are few and far between in this area and really good ones even fewer! We will be back.

The River Inn is a smaller restaurant, but very quaint and relaxing. The lighting is perfect, creating such a cozy atmosphere. The staff is amazing and incredibly friendly — they truly treat you like family. I could absolutely see this as a perfect spot for a romantic date.
My husband and I ordered the Southwest Steak Salad and it was incredible. The flavors were amazing, the beef tips were tender and full of flavor, and the onion crisps were small enough to add crunch without being overwhelming. The bacon had great flavor, and the chipotle mayo ranch dressing was delicious.
We also tried the Santa Fe Salad. The chicken was very tender, the jalapeño bacon added a great kick, and the avocado ranch complemented everything nicely. The pico tasted homemade and was very fresh.
In addition, we had three cups of their wild rice soup. It was creamy, flavorful, not too salty, and had a nice mix of almonds and chicken. We also had the buffalo chicken wrap, which was very filling. The chicken was tender and the buffalo sauce wasn’t overpowering.
All in all, between the amazing food and outstanding service, we had an excellent dinner. The River Inn easily makes it into our top ten favorite places. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for a work lunch on a weekday and the place was packed – for good reason! I had a salad and was impressed with the freshness and flavor packed into what would seem like pretty standard fare. Everyone else loved their dishes too. Worth going out of the way for this one, expect a wait – it’s worth it!

This place can be difficult yo get into but Monday night dinner for my birthday, yes please. Get there as early as you can but we swooped in at 5:30 and got a table. Hostesses ⭐️, Waiter ⭐️, Food ⭐️, Hot Chocolate ⭐️ and my prime rib was on point (get the creamy horseradish sauce if that’s your thing). Atmosphere and ambience is always a feel good as the River Inn give off cozy vibes during the winter season and let’s hangout in the patio in warmer months. Give this place a whirl!
