Our experience on New Year’s Eve was absolutely amazing! The management went all out with the holiday trees, lights and decor; they were very elegant and created a beautiful backdrop for dinner.
Almost immediately at our reservation time, we were taken to a private table for 2. The server Connor, was also excellent and added to our outstanding experience. He checked on us but also gave us privacy. He anticipated our needs all evening, we never felt rushed. He was such a kind, polite young man and even offered to take our pictures without us asking. The shrimp and steak were excellent as well as the sides but honestly, the entire evening was a total top notch experience.
I will say, I have always enjoyed Chop House but the NYE experience was more than we could have expected. We enjoyed every part of the evening and will definitely be back!

The wait staff is wonderful. The food left a great deal to be desired. My broccoli was Barely cooked. My swordfish was Overcooked, and my baked Sweet potato’s Skin was charred/burnt. The potato itself was good but I had to peel off a lot of charged skin. My husband‘s steak was delicious. His mac & cheese was good. The cheese pizza was delicious.

We love chop house ! The service is always good we had JoJo! management checked on us and made sure everything was “perfect” and it was( I think her name was Chelsea?) The price points are reasonable for the quality that is provided maybe even better. The food is constantly good we come here all the time I think you will too once you try it! I recommend a reservation as there is always a wait … so you know I’m not the only one!!!

Typically there food is insanely delicious, hot and fresh. Unfortunately last night was a very busy night and we did have to send our spinach artichoke dip back because it was barley lukewarm. My daughter’s dries were pale, warm, and not crisp. That said, the food is always good and I know every restaurant has an off night. We just didn’t want to complain about everything and we left our waitress a nice tip because she was running her tail off! Also, the baked Boston baked Schrod was delicious! Light but satisfying and better than expected.

Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day to try this “upscale” restaurant for the first time. The woman at the door greeted us with single roses in hand but I did not get one. Ok, maybe they are only for certain guests?
As we were led to our table it felt very cramped and were sat at a tightly packed dining room. Both my date and i felt we couldn’t give ourselves any space or push out our shares without backing into someone or tripping a server. We then realized they added folding tables to seat more guests. This definitely took away from the special Valentine’ s dinner we were hoping for with the atmosphere being noisy, crowded, and uncomfortable.
The server was young and shy, not very personable. He offered bread but never brought any. We didn’t see any other tables with bread, so maybe his offer was just a mistake? No problem.
We ordered jumbo shrimp cocktail and tamale cakes to start. Shrimp had a weird taste to them, tamale cakes were average.
I ordered the chicken piccata which comes with mashed potato and broccoli as well as a side chopped salad and glass of white wine. It was ok, not a ton of flavor and the chicken was a little tough.
As a main course my date ordered the prime rib which comes with a baked potato and another side, he chose steamed broccoli, and added a side chopped salad, only a soda to drink. The prime rib was good, not great, and a little more rare than he prefers as it was ordered medium. The broccoli was pretty much raw. By the time the server came to ask how things were we were pretty much finished, and by the time the manager came over to offer cooked broccoli we were done so, no, we did not want another side of broccoli.
They took $4 off for the broccoli but charged full price for the chopped salad which should have been charged as a side salad. The bill was $140 before tip, which we don’t mind spending if worth it. We could’ve gone elsewhere with better food, service, and atmosphere for the same price and will next time. We will not be returning.

Couldn’t have been happier with the food and service at Chop House. Our server was super attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. The manager checked on us regularly and was very welcoming. The food was cooked perfectly to the temperature we each ordered. The quality of the steak was impressive for the price. Definitely will visit again.

Phenomenal staff , food , and service! Our Waitress Payton and hostess Melinda went above and beyond! Our hostess Melinda asked us if we were celebrating any special occasion. My husband and I were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary .Melinda brought a happy anniversary card to our table that the Chop House staff had signed. They had also brought a complementary desert to our table ! 100% recommend ! It was the most perfect experience! A big thank you to all the Chop House staff thank you for all your hard work!

This is hands down the best steak house in Knoxville, we visit the chop house when we are in the area, the food is delicious and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend coming here for any special occasions or just to eat a good steak!

5 stars all around!! Genuinely the best Chop House I have ever been to. The environment is more upscale than others, and the food was perfect. I brought a large party to celebrate, and everyone was more than happy with their food. We were checked on multiple times, and they went above and beyond to ensure we were all happy!
