It’s a place that satisfies me every time I visit. Without being overly flashy, the ingredients from Korean and Western cuisines blend together freely and harmoniously in a subtle way. I highly recommend experiencing it at least once when you’re in Korea.

I especially appreciated the thoughtful details in each dish, which carefully expressed the essence of Korean cuisine.

A very enjoyable meal. My favorite part was the exploration of Korean ingredients. The execution of the dishes was of course outstanding, but very little was surprising throughout the evening. It was more of a traditional fine dinner than an experience per se.

I was surprised to see this restaurant gain a third Michelin star and Alinea get downgraded to two stars in the same year, when Alinea offers a very fun and unique experience on top of high quality food and service.

my first time dining alone at a michelin rated restaurant and so glad i did it in mingles! the experience was simply amazing. the servers explained the food well and i really love how they use local ingredients and turn it into an innovative, mind blowing dish every time. the best representation of korean food done creatively imo. my fave of course was the hanwoo main dish. i also got the wine pairing to go with my meal. i left the resto super full, a bit tipsy and super happy!

All I can say is amazing and they truly deserve the 3 stars. You could truly appreciate the seasonal summer ingredients of Korea presented in a 12 course meal. So many components, techniques and flavors involved all executed to perfection. The pairing I got which included the introduction of different Korean Liquors to pair with the course which was an eye opener. The service was truly professional, from introducing the courses to serving the food it was truly a superb gastronomic experience from head to toe

For my wife’s birthday on August 9th, we had the chance to dine at Mingles, a Michelin 3-star restaurant in Seoul. Getting a reservation wasn’t easy, but once we stepped inside, I immediately understood why it’s so highly praised.

The atmosphere was calm yet refined, and the service struck a perfect balance between attentive and comfortable. Every course was carefully curated, combining traditional Korean ingredients with a modern, creative touch. It really made me think, “So this is what Michelin 3 stars feel like.”

Wine Pairings
• Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly 2021 (Domaine de Montille)
Elegant and refreshing. It paired beautifully with the starters and seafood, instantly brightening the mood of the dinner.
• Gevrey-Chambertin Sélection 2021 (Marchand-Tawse)
A deep, expressive Pinot Noir with real presence. It matched the main course perfectly, smooth yet powerful.

Overall, the food, service, wine, and atmosphere all exceeded my expectations. Most importantly, my wife loved every moment, which made the evening truly unforgettable.
For a special occasion, I don’t think there’s a better place than Mingles.

This is the best Michelin Star Restaurant I have tried. Chef Kang is re-inventing Korean cuisine. The food was unreal. From surprise to surprise, Chef Kang really takes it to another level with his Mingling Pot and Risotto – both best ever I have eaten. The bimbim bap and Jang Trio were heavenly prepared. The wine pairing was on point and the service was beyond stellar. I had the chance to converse briefly with Chef Kang and manager / sommelier Lee who were both personable and charismatic. Thank you Chef Kang and Mingles Team. Until my next dinner.

2nd visit: the first visit was hard to beat but this dinner came by a little peak higher. Special appreciation to Hyeon J Lee for the attention to details. Thank you again the team at Mingles.

The food and service were both perfect. What impressed me most was the thoughtful touch of providing hand towels in the restroom — a small detail that reflects the owner’s care for the environment. mingles had been on my list of must try for a while now and the stars aligned this trip. scored myself a seat before finding out they achieved 3 michelin and lauded with seoul’s best restaurant. truly worthy accolades as i have thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

intricate flavours may not be for all but it was much appreciated for this diner. the jerusalem artichoke tea was such a comforting ending to the meal.
