I love the Rio- I go to all of them. This was our first time in the Boulder one. It is so dirty and the flies were disgusting. Tables and chairs are so dirty. Could use a solid cleaning. Food was consistent, service super slow and they were quiet.

Had an early dinner here on Saturday. Got seated quickly upstairs on the rooftop. It was a nice space. We were in a hurry and our waiter was very accommodating. Got our drink orders and chips and salsa quickly. It was exactly what we needed. My chicken tacos were tasty, as were the chips and salsa. My daughter had a chicken salad and liked it. My jalapeño drink was outstanding. I’ll be back next time in Boulder.

While hanging out in Boulder, we came across this place. It is really huge Mexican restaurant. We ordered variety of salsa, guac, and vegetarian quesadilla. The food was delicious and service was superb. I highly recommend this place. Who is looking for Mexican food with a great ambience.

We went in the weekend and it was prom night. It was very busy. Despite the hustle and bustle we were seated right away. Our waiter was a very nice gentleman. He took great care of us. Once our food arrived everything was absolutely delicious and just as described in the menu. We had a great experience.

This place is really just fine. There’s nothing really stand out about this place and I have a hard time saying a ton of positive or negative things about it. The atmosphere feels upscale and trendy, the margs are good enough, the food is just alright. The food is like something you’d get served at any regular low quality Mexican restaurant. It’s really not bad, but could use some more love in the kitchen to bring it in line with what you’d expect given the atmosphere (and price!).
