Stopped in Sunday morning, a little busy. We ordered a bacon egg cheese breakfast sandwich and a HOT ham and cheese. The hot ham n cheese was not even warm. Yes, we brought them home but only live about a mile away. We were never asked what kind of cheese we wanted. We questioned an associate as one of the OPTIONS on the hot ham n cheese was swiss which he doesn’t eat. She comes back and states they already started his “hot ham n swiss. That is not what the menu says, but that they could add an additional piece of cheese on top of the Swiss. Most swiss has a distinct flavor and if you don’t like it you don’t like it!! When I pointed out that it is NOT listed as a hot ham n Swiss, she went back and had it switched to American. Below see picture of what it looked like when we got home, not very appetizing at all!! Cheese was not even melted and just a pile of hsm that looks like it was taken out of a pkg and sat on croissant. $7.29 for that sandwich!!! Just want to say I will definitely give them another shot, Heather reached out and you can see in her comments below was very apologetic. Everyone can have growing pains. The breakfast sandwich on a bagel are great!

What a great decision it was! Service was fast and friendly. My Caramel Macchiato latte was the very best I’ve ever had! Mildly sweet, creamy with a nice coffee hit! There price was right too. Definitely recommend you stop in and give them a try!

Our family LOVES this coffee shop as it is a total gem and easily one of the best places to start your day. We occasionally take the 25 min drive to Callahan from Yulee to grab a cup! Sometimes, two for one person lol.
The coffee is bold, rich, and exactly what you need when you’re trying to wake up and get moving. It’s strong without being bitter, and you can really taste the quality in every sip. If you’re someone who actually wants their coffee to work, this is the place.

Roasted Rooster has amazing coffee. What makes it so good is that they roast their own coffee just a few miles from the store front.
Their breakfast bagels are scrumptious as is their muffins. The staff are also excellent and often remember your repeat orders. They are also very friendly and the place is kept very clean!

This was our first visit.The staff was very unfriendly. They did not smile nor did we feel welcome. We will not be returning. Very disappointed. The staff when serving just places the food on the counter and announces ir says nothing regarding your order. No name or anything. I needed salt and pepper for my meal. I went to the service counter and was ignored. I had to go to the order line and ask for salt and pepper, I received salt but was told no pepper and did not know where it is. Terrible service and very unfriendly.

I stopped into the shop on the way to Fernandina Beach and I loved their selection. The shop is located in a plaza and feature some outdoor seating. Inside it’s more casual sitting for waiting and some bar area facing out of the window.
Caramel macchiato latte is delicious and they’re everything bagel was very yummy. I put a specific cream cheese on it that’s called jalapeño and it is delicious and flavorful without being spicy.
I paid about $10.50 for the combination of both bagel and the very generous size drink.
All in all I will return if I’m ever this way again.

First time visiting on 07/20/24. We absolutely fell in love with this place! The coffee was amazing! Much better than the chain stores. The danishes were excellent and service was great as well. We also enjoyed the interior decor and seating.
We travel from Clay County to Folkston just about every weekend and will be looking forward to our Roasted Rooster coffee each and every trip! I like to collect coffee mugs and will be purchasing a mug from them on our next visit as well. Definitely stop in and give them a try if you are in the area!

My fiancé and I were heading back to SW Florida from SC and we were in need of coffee and a good breakfast sandwich.
I’m so glad we found this place because I’m so tired of the local coffee chains.
The service was very helpful and friendly!
I love that they have an employee drink menu that’s has different drinks that each employee loves. It’s exactly the type of thing somebody like me loves! I loved my drink which ended up being a white chocolate raspberry I believed and it did not disappoint. I also got the egg, cheese and bacon bagel sandwich, so good!
For dessert we went with their raspberry muffin so good also!

If you haven’t been to roasted Rooster coffee in Callahan Florida then you’ve been missing out the best coffee of a generation. They roast their coffee beans every night for the following day there are no beans sitting on a shelf for 6 months or a year they are freshly roasted the night before you get your coffee
