When they moved across the street, I followed. When they changed owners, I followed. When they closed, I wasn’t happy. When they reopened, I was overjoyed.
So tonight was not my first time at Mihm’s. And after all these years, I hope it won’t be the last time.
Tonight, like so many nights, I had the steak sandwich with cheese, onion, and butter. Some places say they have a butter burger… You haven’t had a butter burger until the butter runs down your chin.
My only disappointment is that the “We Don’t Serve Coke Products” is down. Just the story is worth keeping the sign-up!
If you have been there before, stop back and enjoy the burgers (Chili is pretty good). If you haven’t been there before, stop by and give Mihm’s a try.
The food was deliciously greasy, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere screamed of a classic, busy diner that barely had enough seating room for people rotating in and out. It was so busy at one point people left before they got to eat! I felt bad, because they missed out!
If you’re ever near or willing to travel, get your butt over here to Mihm’s!
The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, definitely more of a hometown diner feel than a modern restaurant, which adds to its charm. Service was friendly and welcoming.
The food is on the richer side, so if you’re looking for something light this might not be the spot. But if you’re craving a classic charcoal grilled burger and a laid back meal, Mihm’s delivers.
Would definitely come back again.
They offered a list of canned beers and sodas from the foundation. They also had shakes and malts but we were too full for another bite.
It’s a small place, if you want to meet people, sit at the bar. They also have booths.
