First time here and wildly impressed. Beautiful spot and wonderful vibes.

LARGE PORTIONS. I repeat large portions. We could have shared everything. Now we know, however nothing wrong with having yummy leftovers.

Everything was wonderful, the food, the service, even the other patrons. It’s a vibe and I can’t wait to return during the warmer days to sit outdoors.

It was a Saturday night and they had some artist singing on stage which was awesome. The food was absolutely out of this world. The chim pum callao had all the main traditional dishes of the house, Causa, choros a la chalaca, ceviche, chaufa de mariscos and chicharron de pescado. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The weekend specials were the bomb!! Papa rellena en salsa de mariscos was addicting. I also loved their drinks, all of them highly recommended, well decorated and the fact that it comes with the smoky in it its just a plus, have not seen it anywhere at all. All of the servers were smiling with a positive attitude all the time. The service was A+++ as well as the place itself with the two chimneys makes you feel very cozy and warm. One of the servers told me that they were going to start serving BRUNCH on Saturdays and Sundays. Definitely will be back for Brunch!!!!

This place was recommended by a personal friend of my wife and she was spot on. The staff and atmosphere of Brasas is so welcoming! They are very friendly and provide any additional info. About the menu. The food was great, the drinks was amazing and the dessert even better. LoL. I recommend Brasas to anyone who would like authentic Peruvian Foods and a pleasant vibe. Kudos to the management team for having such a great staff. We’ll definitely come back! Special shout out to our servers Quennsy and Javier, they was great ! Thanks again and blessings to all.

Kimaru randomness

This place was great! We went here for my mother’s birthday and the food was freaking delicious!!! Everything was soo good and came out in a timely manner. This place is kinda small but it was packed when we were there. They had a live singer come in and he sang so beautifully I was so shocked he sounded so good! It was a good atmosphere in there and the dessert was super good too. We got there birthday special where they serve cake with dry ice and sparklers and the live singer sang happy birthday it was really cool. Happy we went here. I didn’t get pictures of everyone’s food but I’ll post the ones I got!

The food was good and the staff was friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our overall experience was uncomfortable. My wife and I were seated in the middle of the main walkway, and people were constantly bumping into us. When we asked if we could be moved, we were told it wasn’t possible because we didn’t have a reservation.

To add to the frustration, a 20% automatic gratuity was added to our bill at the end of the night without any prior notice. Transparency and guest comfort go a long way, and this experience fell short in those areas.

Love this Peruvian restaurant. Had Lunch with family & friends after some massages, the restaurant was nicely decorated & the staff super friendly. The bar area was nice & there was a big screen TV with a little stage for singing or if they have an event I guess. Some of the staff spoke English but the majority spoke Spanish. The food was amazing! We had drinks, appetizers, main courses & even dessert. The portions were generous & everything was very tasty. I would definitely be back! Read the menu as there is a 4% up charge on credit card versus paying cash! Also gratuity is included in the bill.

Yesterday, Tuesday the 22nd, I went out to eat with my son to what I thought would be wonderful Peruvian cuisine experience for lunch. We were greeted immediately and given water. However, nobody came back to our table for fifteen minutes, and as I waved my hand frantically to get our waitresses attention, I looked and saw she had been spending 15 minutes making two drinks for the only other table at the restaurant, and then continued to talk to the manager at the bar until I called out for her. After the food arrived, we questioned why the menu said the food had scallops, yet we were given one tiny scallop shell with almost no meat on it. We complained to our waitress who said she would make a note of it and did nothing else. We were never approached again until the bill. As we paid the meal and the automatic gratuity for this service, I told the manager about how I would leave a review based on my experience. Instead of being professional about it, the manager got upset and confronted me, saying he doesnt like threats. The manager, who had spent the entire time at the bar with his laptop, talking to the waitress, didnt offer any apologies or anything of the slightest to make up for the giant bed of rice and empty seafood shells (3/4 mussels had no meat). I would have let this all go if the manager was nicer about it, but instead of trying to understand ,he said thats how the dish is and didnt back off until my son, who has worked almost a decade in the food service industry, felt uncomfortable and had to explain how nothing was done about our previous complaints the entire time we were actually seated. It wasnt until then that the manager backed off, but we were left with the most unprofessional experience at any restaurant in Huntington. Would never go back.

The food was simple and expensive, thats crazy be careful athey put a 20% tip already included. I’ve been here my first time and i didnt like the server so slow and this place was empty and my food were late like 30 min and nobody check me if i need somethins i read the name “” naomi or noemi “” the server she try to talk to me from the bar side and bad looks like I annoyed her calling her about napkins or my food is taking long , im hungry thats why ??? Even my check took so long , thats muts this place empty and they do everything so in bad mood And my server the guy disappeared and just was her and other lady well bad impression i do work as a supervisor in mexican grill and i know about customer service and really this disappointing me or you changed your servers or chevk them bc thats why your place is empty my chicha morada cup just the glass costs 9$$ and just basically just ice on small cup !!!! Never happened this to me in other places !!!! Never coming here again

Naughty or Nice

Called in an order for soup at 8:37pm. It is now 9:30pm and I still don’t have the soup I ordered. The drink however came within 10 minutes. This is not the first time I ordered here and pretty much the same behavior. Unable to rate the food because it still hasn’t come and I’ve seen plates and plates of food go by. Now I wonder if it’s because I am black and they don’t like serving people like me.
