I’d not been to a Dennys for quite awhile and was pleasantly surprised to eat at the one in Chico during business travel. The dining room was very clean and staff seemed happy to see me (oddly). I tried the new bourbon steak and potatoes and it was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly and flavor was excellent. The jukebox was a nice touch too. Kudos to the waitress Chloe, as she was very friendly and took care of me.

Who work in the kitchen need more guidance and watch for temperature control and how long a cooked product should be held. Chicken fried steak shouldn’t be stale. Hashbrowns should not have the consistency of eating a fried calamari ring.

Stephanie was fantastic! You could see she had a lot going on but she still made sure to be attentive. She and the cook did a great job getting our semi complicated order correct, even with being so busy. Staff made the wait tolerable.

Wow!! Not your typical Denny’s. It was sooo much better then other times we have dined in. The place was clean, staff was excellent! We never once had to wait for our waitress. She was so attentive. The food was perfect, flavorful and good portion size. My kid was so excited that the brought back spaghetti and meatballs! We will definitely be returning more often.

So unfortunate after having Denny’s this evening. I have always admitted the brand for the portions of food as it has always stood up to that for the many years I have dined, unfortunately this “skillet” was more of a kid sized side meal that was unfortunately pictured to look bigger than it came. A very slim layer of mac, mostly milk and cream, with a kid sized handful of brisket and barely one and a half size for the onion rings tortillas additional but for what? A snack size basically for 17$+! This doesn’t deserve to be called a skillet do not order this if your expecting what my wife got which was the bourbon chicken as hers was heaping with two chicken breasts broccoli and a hearty side of potatoes to complete her meal. My kids kid meal was bigger than mine! New options but less portions. Its going downhill so I’m looking forward for the new ownership takeover next year, hopefully they do it right like they used to with bigger portions or it just gets shut down, too much money to not be fed enough.

I will say this Denny’s is much better than the other. However, its food comes from a box and we all know that. However there is a little care in this one. If you have heart and you put your heart into that you’re gonna make it look good and taste better, psychology. I will say the manager, there is amazing. Great guy, great spirit, short staffed and he still kept on. You have a good manager there. Don’t let him go. Most important is your service and how you treat people. That’s what makes food really good. Thank you Justin. I had the coffee switched to coke and the 55+ meal chicken fried steak and Lisa had turkey sandwich onion rings. Almost left our food there and Justin saved the day.

loved!! amazing food. huge portions, and nice servers. we all got breakfast foods. and they have a jukebox you can buy credits! wish i would have done it haha. 10/10 i’d definitely recommend, especially too with the proximity to our hotel.

Denny’s has the food quality you’d expect. It’s a plus for recipients of EBT as it is accepted there. I was however not crazy about the blinding light shade just above my head as it could easily be knocked into and being in the middle of the table.

The food was decent, parts of my food were over done or under done. The waitress was giving the bare minimum(this was around 5pm/6pm on a Thursday) she seemed to be having an off day. I don’t recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing quick meal. Not only was it me feeling this way but there were customers also shouting at the server to get her attention. The workers all look like they would rather be anywhere else. The food was something i could’ve grab at a gas station

They have changed their menu and the senior menu doesn’t have much at all on it? My mom use to order from it most of the time. She even asked for gift cards for Christmas present. She got one which was for $100. My moms comment was, “what do I do with that now? I dont want to come back here, this is BS!” She is an overview 25 year patron to Denny’s every Sunday morning. Sad. Service and food was still great, but more expensive and limited senior menu!
