First-time visitor. I was craving scallops in this place was on our way home. Our server, Dina, was awesome. Friendly and very knowledgeable. It was like eating at a friends home. Very welcoming! If you love clam chowder definitely get a cup of that. It is so creamy and flavorful. I wish I would have taken some home. Lol. I had the broiled
scallops and shrimp in melted butter. I wish there was more sear on the scallop. Hubby had crab stuffed flounder. Nothing was left. Lol

Outstanding food, clean atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Definitely found a place to come back to. The Blue Ridge Combination platter is very filling and the Bourbon Bacon wrapped shrimp are simply delicious.

We are here in Virginia and stopped by for some extra large crabs and Blue Ridge is not disappointed. Pam was the coolest waitress I’ve had in a long time. She was pleasant and very attentive to our table. The crabs were seasoned and cooked to perfection!

Went for a seafood dinner to this place and noticed it because I pass it all the time and it seems like a fun little joint. The staff was very courteous and the place itself was comfortable with a very nice outdoor area.
We got fried shrimp and spiced shrimp for one plate and broiled lobster and scallops on the other. My personal favorite was the scallops: very soft and flavorful. The peach cobbler was quite pleasant also.
Everything was quite nice although a couple items like the clam chowder and rice pilaf didn’t stand out immensely. I would enjoy coming back to this place again.

Long story short: I recommend this restaurant.
The service was absolutely incredible, and the food was as good as one could hope. The generosity was enormous— drink refills before you’re halfway through the first and baskets upon baskets of fries when somebody’s fries are mildly cold. However, the main problem comes with the atmosphere.
Nothing huge to complain about, but it’s a bit unprofessional feeling when they have a whole paper cutting station right next to your table. Additionally, everything feels a bit cramped and several of the teenagers were on their phones half of the time. It’s hard to eat in peace when multiple teenagers are singing karaoke when the restaurant is very much open. However, the lady who served us was very nice and helpful— I was very pleased with her service. All of the adults were amazing!
The food was classic seafood, I’m not a big seafood person so I can’t really comment on its taste— but the food was enjoyable.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant.

Worst food I had in years at a seafood restaurant. Small portions for price. Hard hush puppies, cold fries, unseasoned Norfolk combination seafood dinner. Only thing good about the experience was our server Carla.

If you’re enticed by a TV dinner, then this is the seafood place for you.
We were really disappointed with our experience at Blue Ridge. The food was overpriced and poorly prepared. From the fries to the fish, everything was clearly previously frozen. We ordered the pick-four plate for $41, and unfortunately, nothing on it met expectations listed in the menu — the crab was overcooked, the fries were soggy, and the scallops were inedible.
The only upside was that the staff acknowledged the issue and gave us a 15% discount, which we appreciated. Still, we left feeling let down and won’t be returning.

HOLY COW! What a place! Beautiful, beautiful, homely, family like place! Not just a great place but GREAT FOOD! They brought coleslaw out first. I thought what a coleslaw! I have never tasted coleslaw thus good. I thought the KFC coleslaw was the best but I was wrong! I thought that was the best but when I tasted the broiled scallops, oh, wow! Then the Oysters, soft crabs, hush puppies, the Best hush puppies, ever, the steam shrimps, and the best tasting shrimps ever. Oh, by the way, even their homemade cocktail sauce was the best also. It’s just simple ketchup and horseradish, I asked. I am so glad that I decided to give it a try today!

This was a first time tryout for Blue Ridge Seafood Restaurant and I was quite satisfied and would recommend. Ordered the crab imperial with a side of coleslaw and a baked potato. The crab imperial souffle sauce was flavorful and had some impressive lumps. The baked potato was a decent size and cooked to perfection and topped with real butter and sour cream. The coleslaw was so fresh and generously mounded in its side dish. Their recipe for hushpuppies deserved an honorable mention. Honestly, the atmosphere reminded me of the old school crab shacks in Maryland. It was fun, folksy, and a good time was had by all.

Overall, a solid choice for seafood based lunch. Unfortunately, we chose to go for father’s day and they had an issue with crab delivery so no crabs today. But we enjoyed the snow crab legs, crab cakes, oysters, steamed shrimp, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. They have a good beer selection, my fave is the sour. Reviews about the coleslaw were spot on. I really liked how light but crunchy it was. The oysters were gigantic and fairly clean. My only qualm about my plate was two of my crab clusters were overcooked so getting the meat out was a slight bummer but everything tasted good. Mandy, our server, was very nice. We arrived at 11 and waited in line by the door until opening, people were eager to get in! This was our first visit and we may go back, downside is far drive from Springfield. Restrooms were clean but the floors felt greasy so be careful! If you like fair priced and portioned seafood def check them out.
