Bawarchi Biryani is hands down some of the best Indian food in the Tampa Bay area—and honestly, the best biryani I’ve had here.
Their special boneless biryani is exceptional: deeply flavorful, perfectly spiced, and cooked just right. It’s easily the best Indian biryani I’ve ever tried. The lentil dish is also incredible—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. For snacks, the samosas and cheese jalapeño samosas were a hit, and the portions are very generous.
We catered from Bawarchi for a pre-wedding party, and the food was an absolute showstopper. Everything arrived perfectly, and guests could not stop talking about it. The vegetable korma was especially popular—so many people asked for the restaurant’s name and wanted it as a recommendation.
On top of the amazing food, the team was great to communicate with—super chill, responsive, and easy to work with, which made the whole catering experience stress-free.

The lamb roast biryani was honestly amazing — the meat was super tender and flavorful, and the spices hit just right without being overpowering. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. The karapodi kodi was just as impressive — crispy, spicy, and full of that authentic Andhra-style flavor that makes it so addictive. Altogether, it felt like a warm, homestyle meal made with real care. Definitely one of the best food experiences I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. I placed a to-go order for one Chicken Dum Biryani and one Goat Ghee Roast Pulav Biryani. However, after leaving town and traveling nearly 70 miles, I opened the food only to find they had packed Veg Biryani instead of Chicken and a spoiled Goat Biryani with a terrible smell.
When I called the restaurant to report this, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of apologizing or offering a proper solution, she said I could come back and collect the correct order, even though I clearly explained I was already 70 miles away. I asked for at least a partial refund or to be charged only for what was correct, but she refused and said a new staff member made the mistake, as if that justified giving me the wrong food.
The staff showed no accountability, no customer service, and absolutely no concern for my time or money. Even after returning to the restaurant for a replacement, they were unprofessional and unapologetic.
This was a complete failure in both food quality and customer service. I won’t be ordering from here again, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values their money or expects even basic respect from restaurant staff.

We had buffet today and the food was not good. The Biriyani was dry and the meat was hard n dry. Looks like it was not fresh. There was very less people. Most of tables are empty. Price is $20 per adult, that is ok.But $14 per kids is higher than other restaurants . My little kid just have one piece of naan and small bit of snacks, he is just 5 years old. Noodles was spicy. CHICKEN DRY was too spicy. Looks like all meat are dry and not freshly cooked. They didn’t mentioned the price properly when we asked. Highly not recommended

This is our second time visiting Bawarchi in a month. Before that, I believe, last we went there about 3 years ago. They made a significant turnaround from the past. The transformation is evident – the once mediocre offerings have evolved into an array of delectable dishes. The addition of Indian-Chinese fusion to their menu is a good idea. I’m not sure if they had it before. The appetizers, particularly the chicken hot and sour soup along with the karampodi baby corn and cauliflower, were exceptional. The main courses did not disappoint; the lamb chops were perfectly charred on the outside while preserving a succulent juiciness within. The butter chicken remained a classic delight, with a sauce that was nothing short of perfection. The lamb curry and chicken biryani further showcased traditional flavors.
I’m thrilled we decided to give it another chance and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and innovative Indian cuisine.

I had the pepper chicken fry appetizer, samosas, and goat curry, and each was outstanding in taste and quality.
My friends and I were truly impressed with how delicious everything was. We’ll definitely be back!
