Old Chicken maybe 3hrs old maybe 4hrs. Definitely not fresh. As a former Popeyes Manager and opened different location. This chicken definitely does not Popeyes standards. This chicken is old and concerning that has stayed in the hot bird cage for over 2hrs positive more. This should have ben already pulled and tossed and some for jambalaya. Definitely disappointing from Popeyes. Ms. Melissa should check quality in this store.

We got there 30 minutes before closing and ordered regular tenders and chicken. Both boxes had 1 piece that was mild and the rest was spicy. They were out of fries and then replaced our Mac and cheese with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Placed a Uber eats order today and I couldn’t be more satisfied with how fast I got my order and how delicious each item I ordered tasted, food quality super perfect I ordered the new flounder fish sandwich combo along with a order of fried pickles and the shrimp tackle box. Everything was made perfect hot and fresh. Great job to the Popeyes team !!!

I am always pleased with the food I receive at the Merritt Island Popeyes I’ve never had an issue except for when they gave me bone-in rather than boneless. But even then I was not unhappy because they let me keep both bone in and what I originally ordered. So I got twice the food for half the price. They corrected their mistake without any problems and apologize appropriately and let me keep what they gave me on accident!!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this Popeyes. I ordered a 6-piece chicken meal and only received 3 pieces- find out when already left the store. On top of that, the chicken was extremely overfried and smelled like very old, burnt oil. I forced myself to eat two pieces but couldn’t finish because it tasted so bad.
A couple of hours later, I started feeling very nauseous, ended up throwing up, and now I feel like I have serious food poisoning. Over-the-counter medication isn’t even helping. I feel absolutely sick.
If you care about your health, avoid this location!!!

I feel bad for the employees at this location. It’s very hot out today and the air conditioning is out. They are using one commercial medium sized fan in the lobby. I will say considering how warm it is in the building the staff members here have great attitudes!!!

This is the worst Popeyes we’ve ever been to. The managers yell at customers and don’t resolve anything. People like that shouldn’t be working in customer service. In our case, yesterday we placed an online order, and when we went to pick it up, they wouldn’t give it to us because their system said it was pending. They told us to come back when their system showed it as complete. The next day it was complete, and we went back to Popeyes to pick up the $71 order we paid for, but they still didn’t give us the food. The manager who was there on February 14, 2026, at 11 AM, treated us extremely badly and rudely. He was yelling at me and my son. It’s the worst Popeyes we’ve ever been to. In the end, they didn’t give us the $71 food we paid for.

Does anybody actually follow through? When people complain a manager was making my order and when he found out that I was irritated with how long it was taking he decided to take even longer and laugh in my face about it. A manager did this. I would love to get a phone call from corporate because these little stupid messages about how you’re going to fix things is very unsatisfying. I’m just about certain that nothing is going to happen. No action is going to be taken for this manager’s lack of responsibility
