The food had no seasoning, so bring your own. The service was not good , we had to ask for everything including bowls to eat rice , serving spoon to serve our food. The doors were wide open and they were reluctant to close them. But we were freezing ,it’s the middle of December !

Our server was super friendly.. unfortunately there are soup was served lukewarm and their broth what’s on the salty side without much depth of flavor. The amount of protein was pretty stingy as well. One positive note, the noodles for very satisfying and chewy. I was a bit disappointed overall. The Arcadia location, even though it’s pretty tiny, has better food.

Got to-go food today from LAN Noodle.

This place is located in the tokyo central plaza and next to baskin robin and dunkin donuts. Plenty of parking spots here. The inside of this place is not that big. Service is decent and does not take too long yo get my food.

Ordered the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, comes with sliced beef, small beef chunks, clear beef bone broth, daikon, cilantro, garlic greens, and the wide flat hand pulled noodles. You can pick your own spice level for the noodle. i ordered mild spice and it was kind of spicy for a mild level comparing to other places out there.

I also ordered the spicy fried tofu as a side order. The spicy fried tofu is not that spicy as I am someone that can’t handle that much spice.

Both dishes are decent. For the Lan noodles, the wide flat noodles are huge so if you are someone that enjoys thin noodles, make sure to change your noodle option. They have 8 different kind of noodles but their signature one is the wide flat one.

Overall, I would give a 3.5-4 star rating and I round it up to a 4 star based on we need to support small businesses especially if there is nothing bad I can complain about them. Do they have the best food? Not but decent enough for me to order from them next time if I’m craving for noodles.

Service service service! I ordered takeout but still felt how much they thought about service. Addressed me as soon as I walked in. Checked on me while I waited and made sure I knew my order was coming up shortly. There was a minor language barrier, but easily resolved with pictures in the menu and again, no attitude or frustration. Why is this such a big deal to me? Well Asian restaurants are not really known for service, that’s why.

The packaging to go held up very well and was easy to construct my meal at home. Noodles (thick flat) were perfectly chewy and broth spicy like I ordered. There was enough food for two, so I even had enough for dinner later in the evening. Truly lived up to the “Spicy Beef Noodle” title. The gizzards appetizer was chewy and delicious and paired well with the chili oil and black vinegar provided. All in all a great meal and a place I would go back again and again to take care of any noodle craving

My family and I have consistently enjoyed the culinary offerings of Lan Noodle, often traveling an hour to the Arcadia location. We were therefore pleased to learn of a new branch opening closer to our residence, specifically in West Covina, which we visited for its convenience. However, our recent experience at the West Covina location did not meet the quality we have come to expect from your Arcadia establishment.

The quality of the food was notably different. We ordered the beef chow mein, beef noodle soup, fried rice, and smashed cucumbers. The beef chow mein had an unusual flavor profile, causing a uncomfortable tingling sensation on our lips and tongues, despite no indication of spiciness. Upon inquiry, we were told in smart remark they used “numbing oil”. The fried rice was basic, and while the beef noodle soup was satisfactory, the smashed cucumbers were unpalatable, tasting stale as if they had been stored for an extended period. Furthermore, they were not prepared with the customary smashed garlic.

Beyond the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant was a concern. We also observed unprofessional conduct from the noodle chef. Specifically, the chef handled noodles and other food items without gloves, and was seen wiping his face with a dirty rag before immediately returning to food preparation. Additionally, the chef was observed using a mobile phone and touching his nose, then proceeding directly to noodle preparation and cooking. These observations significantly diminished our dining experience. The place was also messy and unorganized.
I recommend just going to the original one in ARCADIA. They are the best and very clean. We will only go to the Arcadia from now on.

Only thing good about this place was the atmosphere. Clean place with spacious tables unlike a lot of Chinese places. However the food was below average. We got the Braised Beef noodle, spicy beef noodle and spicy popcorn chicken. Unfortunately none was good. Chicken tasted like oil, noodle soups tasted bland and white rice was yellow?? Tasted like medicine. I don’t know why it has so many great reviews, maybe we went wrong time. I’ve had tons of Chinese food here in Cali and this one one of the worst I’ve had.

hand made noodles on the spot. very fresh noodle varieties with good texture paired with different soups or dry mix. the noodles are difficult to share though cuz it’s actually one very long noodle in a bowl. a little strange but makes for a great dish when celebrating birthdays… longevity noodles. the apps are my favorite, good quantities and good flavors.

this was my second time here and my sisters and I shared the beef tendon, seaweed salad and crispy tofu this time. definitely happier with the choices this time around. my other sister polished off the bowl of spicy beef noodle herself and was very happy with it.

I ordered the smashed cucumbers and braised beef noodle soup with wide flat noodles (mild). There’s a tiny hint of mala in the noodles but it’s light and bearable (I don’t like mala.). Some of the beef chunks in the noodles were tough. One piece was especially dry that I considered spitting it out. The other chunks of beef were good though. I really liked the wide flat noodles. The smashed cucumbers were refreshing. I will be going back to try other things on their menu!

Decent food but pretty standard. I wanted something crazier. I probably won’t come here again since there are other interesting noodle places to try.

The spicy beef noodle soup is called mala but I didn’t really taste any numbing sensation. Also it’s $1 more compared to the normal noodle, but the tables all have spicy sauce. Consider just getting the standard noodle and adding your own spicy sauce.

Very cool AC. Great for the summer.

Came in for my sister in law birthday celebration. We were seated right away and thankful that the ac was on full Blas because it was hot outside. You can customize your noodle size to your liking whether its round or flat. You can also adjust the spiciness of the broth but basically they just add more chili oil to your bowl. I think it’s Mala based so it will numb your tongue momentarily.
