Five stars. Clean BBQ restaurant that was tastefully decorated. The hostess/server was awesome! She provided friendly professional service with a smile.
We had brisket, ribs, smoked sausage Mac and cheese and baked beans. Everything tasted great! The meats had good smoke flavor and just enough seasoning. The Mac and cheese was rich and cheesey just the way I like it. The baked beans were flavorful without being overly sweet.

First time here. Greeted, seated, and the waiter was great! The wait was a little long but we were patient. The food taste good, just a little stingy with portions in my opinion. The atmosphere was inviting and clean. The menu looked great, gluten free options were available but not pointed out on the menu. I will come back and bring more friends to support.

I live in the area but never tried this restaurant till today. Service was great and food portion was huge. Jalapeño Nacho was delicious and I love their banana pudding with strawberry, it’s not too sweet which is perfect after eating huge meal. They told us they have fish ribs and beef ribs too which are not on the menu, but will try those next time we visit.

I was looking for a new spot and give this spot a try. I ordered the whiting platter for myself, catfish platter for my husband and smoked wings for the kids. My whiting platter was supposed to be 3 pieces, as you can see from the picture, one piece isn’t even a full piece. It seems like they gave me all they had left instead of saying they didn’t have any more. It tasted old and not hot. My husband didn’t even finish his meal because everything was too salty. My son was the only that enjoyed his meal of smoked wings. Sad to say I will have to now make dinner because we are still hungry and weren’t happy with our platters. The Mac & Cheese had no flavor and the greens were salty. I only gave it 2 stars based on the smoked wings since my son ate them. No one else enjoyed their meals. This was a waste of time, money and effort.

I went for take out. The food is fresh and the ribs and brisket is very very tender. Mac and cheese was divine and chessy. The pork rinds were fresh and hot. Oh, and the turkey wing was huge and very good. We met and chatted with Angel. From the host at the door and Angel we really enjoy her spirit. We loved everything about EDees. We will be back. Thanks again.

Went for the first time yesterday and it was pretty good. My husband and I ordered full rack of ribs, Mac n cheese and potato salad. When our food came out everything was good except for the ribs. “Bummer” they were too pink to our liking but after speaking with Edee, he came out with more “well done” ribs (not pictured,we took them to-go) and they were just right! I will add my hubby loved the Mac and cheese too and potato salad wasn’t too bad just added some more pepper. Will visit again but next time not so close to closing.

Great BBQ place. Ribs and Briskets were not the best we’ve had, but they were very good. But our favorite from this place were their desserts: Banana Pudding and Key Lime Cake. Soo goodd. We were sitting inside, but for some reason, there were many flies around our table that day. Quite annoying.

Not only is the Mac and cheese about the size of a sauce container, but they hella shorted me on this “Large” order of sweet potato fries.
Paid way to much and the value wasn’t there.

Edee is an amazing Guy..really funny and a people pleaser. I went on comedy night. Alisha performed and was Hilarious. The food was packaged already by the time I did the review but it was delicious.. the chicken wings were ok..but could’ve been cooked longer for me. They are smoked. Overall B+

Meh. It’s okay. The staff was the best part of our visit. Like other reviewers say, they’re friendly, attentive, and make the experience better than it would be otherwise. The atmosphere was interesting.. felt kind of like a BBQ Lounge. They had big velvet loveseats at one end, and the booths are a half circle bench. Decor varies from what could be formal, elegant white curtains with lacy black ties, to corrugated metal siding inside. It’s such an eclectic atmosphere, it’s definitely interesting! That said, the food.. it was okay. The chicken salad and BBQ sauces both have a slightly odd flavor, which neither my husband nor I could figure out what it was. I thought the baked mac’n’cheese was great, but DH didn’t care for the Brunswick stew at all. He didn’t get a spoon, so couldn’t eat it all, but said he didn’t want a spoon because to him, it wasn’t worth finishing! The Key Lime cake wasn’t what I hoped for (a moist layer cake). This was box mix type of sheet cake, baked in a little tin pan. It had decent flavor, but was a bit dry. So, to us, the food was the most lacking aspect of the experience. It was an interesting experience.. neither great nor bad, so we rate it as a middle of the scale kind of place. Clearly, a lot of people like Edee’s, so don’t hesitate to try it.. You may love it!
