I should have left this place. If you value a pleasant atmosphere and cleanliness, this isn’t the place for you. I visited for the first time to get a cinnamon roll. As I looked around, I couldn’t bring myself to sit down. I took a few bites, and the taste was off—stale, old, and unpleasant. The area where they prepared the food was unhygienic. Everything looked neglected, and the food wasn’t stored properly. The cleanliness was appalling, and the stares from the staff members made me feel uneasy. If you prioritize positive energy, I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. I could not consume the cinnamon roll and had to discard it.

ELIZABETH was such a pleasure as well as overall staff… my apologies for not getting the chefs name but her food was awesome and efficient. No long wait thankfully and Elizabeth had such a great sense of humor will visit again 10/10 recommend! Also the jams were jamming lol it was a vibe!

Breakfast was okay. The price was great and the food came out quickly which I appreciated. The portions were tiny though, and the meal itself was pretty average. When I walked in, several tables were still dirty which took away from the experience. With a little more attention to cleanliness and better portion sizes, this place could be much stronger.

Gotta love metro. Classic greasy spoon in a real old fashioned diner. One of the few places that is open 24/7 anymore. Great neighborhood feel. You can watch the cook make your food. Sassy waitstaff that will call you “hun”.

Perfect Greasy Spoon Diner! The food is yummmy, we ordered the breakfast bowl and it was packed full of flavor and was made perfectly and the pancakes were exactly what we wanted. The service exceeded my expectations for a hood diner. The staff were super cool and attentive. Great place to end a night of partying. Food was affordable too

Food was pretty good to the point where I don’t even trust it anymore. Why? Because the two girls who were working were vaping IN TOP OF MY FOOD, MAKE IT MY FOOD AND SMOCKING IN FRONT OF EVERYTHING, my eggs, my potatoes, basically everything, we had ask for an extra dish, and she didn’t charge, weird because she saw me saw them smoke… this shouldn’t be allowed specifically if your making food!!! I’m pregnant and I didn’t even bothered to eat the other dish because WTH!!! So many bacteria’s can go wrong in this place and they even tried hiding it. DECEMCER 25TH, TWO GIRLS, don’t know their name but I didn’t want to get close to them and say anything because of how mad I was. This is not acceptable!

Nothing I ordered was right I watched them take my over easy eggs and just flip them over on the other side and put them right back in my plate my granddaughter ordered scrambled eggs and she got over easy egg without the yolk the pancake was burn. Not one time that I see them wash there hands I will never go back the food was horrible.

This was my first time eating here and it was delicious I loved every bit of it I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast they have other things other than breakfast on the menu but I haven’t tried it but breakfast is very good and it’s affordable too

This place was Pitt Grill when I was growing up. Since changing to Metro Diner, I had good visits and 1 horrible visit being that my family was completely ignored on a so-so busy day. We left unattended and did not come back for months!!! However, that one bad memory should never hold back the good memories with good waitresses and past awesome cooks who cook with love. Today was a mediocre day with the cook, the waitress was pretty good. My eggs had some browning and not so fluffy like the old cook who once cooked eggs with love. The days of waitress calling you honey, dear, sweetie are out the door and met with half dead looks and the attitude of winding the time down till their shift is done. Sometimes a younger lady will be there but not for long. The hamburgers if you want to call it that, look more like cathead biscuits with small sausage patties. The burgers used to be out of this world. I am still have hopeful about this place but must concede to the fact that it’s glory days are way behind them. If anyone thinks this place is out of this world, you might wanna make an appointment with your neurologist!!!
