If there are big events in Detroit like normal this place will be jammed and very noisy. That’s part of the charm on an event night dinner.
Servers were very good. As you can imagine it’s a long wait for your meal in a packed restaurant but worth the wait. Very tasty I recommend ordering something you never had and be surprised.
Outdoor seating available on a street not jammed with traffic so it’s pleasant. Inside seems to lack a personality but not ugly.

Absolutely spectacular! Vicente’s Cuban Cuisine is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Detroit. The food was incredible, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance made the night feel special, and the service was just as amazing. Cameron was the sweetest, kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.
The mojitos were fire and the dance floor brought the whole place to life, such a fun, authentic vibe! Can’t wait to come back.

Great server and excellent food. Only complaint a homeless guy dumped his beer out on the patio. Nothing they could have done about it. However, the manager came out helped the man and cleaned up the mess!
My friend and I had two different shrimp meals and appetizers. I also had bread and a side ceasar all amazing. Go for happy hour apps are 1/2 off and drink specials to boot.

Very nice experience. Food was tasty. Server was very kind (messed up the order, but quickly corrected it). Atmosphere was dead, but I didnt mind that as I came for good food.

What a wonderful “walk by” find! I was in search of a cup of Cuban coffee and ended up eating a whole meal (had to try the day’s special) with wine, coffee, and dessert! Pricing were very reasonable, service was efficient and friendly (and fast), but the food was the star. Excellently seasoned and served hot. Wish I was in Detroit more often to make repeat visits.

Had an enjoyable dinner here this past weekend. It seemed clean, with an unfussy menu, and good drinks. Service could use some small tweaks and acoustics of the space kinda give mess hall sometimes, but I definitely recommend. I’ll most likely return.

A good Cuban restaurant in downtown Detroit.
We came for a small get together with some friends on a weekday night and had a great time.
The bartender is fantastic, very friendly and makes a great cocktail. The drinks are VERY expensive, but it’s worth it from time to time for a good drink.
The service was great, the servers and manager were very nice, helpful, and they checked on us frequently.
The food was good, the apps were great. We also had some salads and entrees and everything was good. I’m told by my group that there is better Cuban food elsewhere but this is the best I have ever had, which I admit has not been very many times.
Overall I think this place is great, great service, great drinks, and good food.

Our group visited Vicente’s for a birthday bash and we were delighted by the whole experience! The dishes not only tasted great but were also beautifully presented. Our waiter was wonderfully attentive, ensuring our needs were promptly met. It had been some time since my last visit to Vicente’s, but I was genuinely impressed by its spotless environment, chic decor, and vibrant atmosphere. We’re already excited about returning for salsa classes and more dancing! It was also refreshing to see a few plant-based and vegetarian options on the menu. We’d love to see even more variety in this area, especially some plant-based dessert options alongside the traditional ones.

The food was ok but I’m not coming back, Moro was terrible, churrasco was fine also ropa vieja, but everything lacked salt the best was the croquetas. The place was nothing like Cuban experience, Mojito was good sangria was not good. Great service though.
