First, how are you out of broccoli for a month straight and you are not informing your servers that you don’t have broccoli so they can properly inform their customers. so when I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo and the broccoli was missing to my surprise the whole meal is now a Bummer. And who wants green beans in replace of Broccoli in a Alfredo.
Secondly, I ordered the three trio. I asked for sweet Asian wings and buffalo on my receipt. It clearly says, and we make mistakes, however, when the server brought the new wings out, they were so hard I couldn’t bite into them.
Thirdly, A beautiful waitress walked in clearly in Applebees uniform with her shirt tied in the back showing off her back piercings she proceeded to go sit down and eat her lunch. I understand slow, but is this not a business?
Fourthly, if there is going to have a million employees in the back of the house at least make sure their presentable when making eye contact with the customer.
Overall I am just definitely not satisfied and 100% still hungry and not sure if should be mad, sad or what word to explain.
I went back with my son after he got out of school and hour later and ordered 2 for 25 (salmon and pasta), and a bourbon steak. It took 90 minutes for this to go order, 40 after they messaged me that it was ready.
I left and my son told me there was no salmon. So I went back and told them I was missing the salmon. The server said okay, came back seven minutes later and asked “what did you say you were missing?” I asked him him “what did you hear me say I was missing?” He said “salmon.”
Then he continued that they had accounted for the salmon and he knew he had given it to me. I brought the bag and all the food back in and demonstrated that the bag was full and tied so where could I have hidden the salmon. He turned and left and came back with the salmon. He didn’t apologize for accusing me of stealing and lying, or for the mix up, not even for the HUGE drain on my time and inconvenience.
Then half a block away my son tells me that his rice is ice cold and it was like straight out of the cooler cold. But he didn’t want me to go back.
I spent around $80 with them and too much of ot was sub par, missing or incorrect. This is Mt second terrible experience at this location. I’ll have to find a different location in the future. The staff is so slow, they are all in cruise control.
1) I ordered one regular drink and also one of their mixed drinks. I got my regular first, that was fine, but then we got our appetizers almost 10 minutes later and still no mixed drink. I didn’t get the mixed drink until we had almost finished the appetizers. I understood there being a slight delay on the food because it was busy, but why did my mixed drink take almost 15 minutes? And why didn’t the serve at least acknowledge the long wait? He just dropped it off and left.
2) The server’s personality was fine, but he kept checking on all tables but ours. He at least checked on us when he was bringing our food, but after that we were lucky to get a refill and we ended up having to wave him down to get our check when we were done even though he walked back and forth by us multiple times with our empty plates on the table.
Even factoring in the business, all I’m going to say is I’ve been at Longhorn Steakhouse during dinner rush on game night and got better service.
I’ll definitely be coming back, but if he winds up the server again I will be asking to be sat in another section.
