The food is as good as usual, but there is no servers. You have to use a kiosk to order like your at McDonald’s and pay yourself. You have to scan your receipt to get your drink. And the kiosk has the nerve to ask for a tip. Go to Freddy’s instead.

Food was fresh, I was with a group of 5 and my sister-in-law’s burger was pink inside in spots and under cooked. Mine was not and neither was was any of the other burgers. All the fries were awesome and cooked to perfection. For some odd reason you are supposed to scan a QR code before getting a refill, which I get for tracking variable costs- but really all it did was make 2 lines for 1 drink station which was frustrating.

Visit Steak ‘n Shake today. The food was really good. The fries cooked in beef tallow were tasty. Marked the service low because I ordered from the kiosk (think it was the only option) and didn’t have much interaction with the employees. Atmosphere was good but the floors were sticky. The pick below is of the bunless burger my wife ordered.

Resturant smelled strong of bleach. I was optimistic that meant it was clean.
We ordered on a kiosk and added a tip even though we were the workers at this point. We ordered 7 meals and got 6 unmarked meals. We guessed which one we were missing and asked for it, and all of the sauces we paid extra for.
The staff insisted they gave us food we clearly did not have. She walked to the table and asked one of my kids to open the sandwich he was eating to verify it wasn’t the one i asked for. We were in the dining room. There was no where to hide an entire meal.
We won’t be back.

Would’ve been 5 stars as the food is good quality but the main cook was on the phone with his bae the whole time and it took over 20 minutes to get my food with only 2 other people there. He was more interested in chatting on the phone than working, and wasn’t very friendly. I actually thought they forgot about me for a bit. Will probably give them another chance later on.

The grilled cheese was cold and the fries tasted reheated… Still ate them though. The shake was drowning in cinnamon and had an odd texture, I was not fond of it. The staff was lovely, very sweet and good service!

This was our first ever visit to a Stake and Shake. The Shakes were yummy, but the service was not good. We went through the drive-thru and the girl at the window was on her phone the whole time, to the point where she forgot to give us our shake. We had to knock on the window to get her attention and ask for it, and when we did she gave us a LOOK. We just wanted to receive everything we paid for! I don’t think we’ll go back, at least for a good long while.

I ate here Dec 19th, 2025 with my boyfriend and we both ended up getting a very mild case of food poisoning I will never eat here again. I definitely think you need to clean your store and what you cook the meat on and I think you should make sure what your serving your customers is something you would want to eat. We just got 2 garlic burgers and a large chili fry and a drink. So definitely focus on all those items for what’s contaminated so no one gets sick anymore from your food.
